These spacious groundfloor condos are some of the most sought-after condos at Solymar. They are larger than the other condos, as Solymar is pyramid-shaped. These condos have large private patios & are very convenient. Many guests prefer these condos because of their location & convenience. As a result, they fill up quickly!

Our condos each have 2 very comfortable double beds, a sleeper couch & fully equipped kitchens & large fridges.

We remodeled our kitchens with all new kitchen counter tops & cabinets. For your enjoyment, we have also installed in our 4 condos, independently of the condo association, OUR OWN DISH SATELLITE TV SERVICE with 52 CHANNELS. Wifi is also available in the lobby & the bar.

Simply walk out your oceanview condos & onto your patios to your lush tropical grounds. You are a short walk to your sandy white beaches with their gorgeous turquoise waters, which await you.

Our condos are especially PERFECT for long term rentals & are very convenient. No need to climb stairs or wait for an elevator. They are a close walk out to the pool, bar, restaurant, & the beach. Easily take books, toys, etc., out to the pool or beach.

Our spacious size condos have private satellite TV, air conditioning, in-room safes, & walk-in showers. The kitchen is equipped with new kitchen appliances & new large refrigerators. Each condo has a microwave oven, coffee-maker, toaster, blender, stove top, dishes, glasses, silverware, & pots & pans.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise, or linger at evening to view the sunset. Watch the female turtles laying their eggs in the summer. Be at one with nature!

Solymar provides 24 hour security for your protection. It is located at the southern end of the Cancun Hotel Zone, which is not a densely populated or a high traffic area. Police are constantly visible in the Hotel Zone because Cancun is Mexico's Number ONE money-maker, & it prefers to keep it that way.

Solymar provides parking, a private beach, massages, a beachfront bar & grill, tennis, activities for children & adults, & other amenities. There are 2 pools. The pool bar is both a seated & swim-up bar.

Solymar provides an on-site restaurant with both a la cart meals & an optional all-inclusive meals & drinks plan for only $45 a day per person. It is worth going all-inclusive for a day or two.

There is a VERY CONVENIENT staffed coin operated LAUNDRY, convenience stores on-site & across the street, car rental & tour desk, computer room, & wifi at the pool & lobby.

  We stayed at Cathys Condos at the Solymar Beach Resort in april 2011. I found the condos via Flipkey and then contacted Cathy directly by email and phone. They're a lovely couple that were just as excited as we were about the Mexico trip. She gave me lots of advice on where to go and eat etc before we set off.
  
  We actually rented two condos, and Cathy arranged that we had both of the beach side condos, instead of one at the front and one at the back. This worked out really well as they were next to each other so we could share the patios. The condos are on the ground floor so you can't actually see the beach but you do have a great view of the sea past the pool / bar area. Because you can just walk straight off the patio into the poor bar area, I spent every morning watching the sunrise!
  
  The condos are very large long spacious places, with two double beds, a kitchen (well equipped), private bathroom / toilet and a safe. There were no issues with any of the fitting except the outside patio chair, one of which lost a leg just by sitting on it! I guess they perish in the sun. The fridge in the kitchen area was large a well stocked with ice. Mariza who checked up on our progress works for Cathy and made sure that we had everything that we needed and understood the area. Very nice and very professional.
  
  After a couple of days we went downtown to the Walmart and brought a supply of basics, mainly for making our own cocktails. Remember that the Solymar complex is designed as an all-inclusive resort so most of the guests have wristbands that get them unlimited food and drink. The small pool restaurant will sell you an all-inclusive lunch for 200 MXN and buffet breakfast for 160PXN but the quality is not that good.
  
  All in all, a totally excellent stay at the condos with all four in our party wishing we could have stayed there longer. I would have no hesitation in recommending these condos to friends or family.
