This condo is located downtown and its excellent location allows our guests to be near of local life and hotel zone at the same time. Puerta del Mar is a private-gated community where Amara Beachfront Condos are located. The condominium counts with 2 towers, AMARA 1 and AMARA 2, both towers are supplied with security 24hrs. The condo counts with 2 parking spaces. Either you can rent car or take a taxi, both options are safe. The fixed rate for a taxi to take you inside downton area is $30 pesos (around $2.5 USD).
SHOPPING: Malecon Americas, the biggest and one of the newest malls in Cancun, is located about 6 kms/ 3.7 miles from the condo.
RESTAURANTS: There are plenty of options downtown and just a couple minutes far from the condo. Peter´s, Rino´s, Dolce Vitta, Pizza Rolandi, Naranja Dulce, Locanda Paolo, Bandoneon, TOKS, Waffle House, Café de la Nader are just some great restaurants.
SUPERMARKET: Wal-Mart, Sam´s, Costco, Comercial Mexicana and Chedraui are the closes supermarkets.
TOURS AND ACTIVITIES: Outside Puerta del Mar there is a Fisher town where you can buy fresh fish, a local cozy church and five minutes walking you can also find the ferry to cross to Isla Mujeres (the ferry takes 15 minutes).
