This is the ground floor of a duplex in Downtown Cancun, owned by Canadians who winter there. It is comfortable, clean, and available from November to April for weekly, semi-monthly or monthly rental. Check our availability Calendar to see what we have open.
Accomodation is suitable for up to 6 people..There is a pull out sofa in the living room and 2 bedrooms..

El matrimonio fue sumamente colaborador en todas las necesidades.
La casa es básica, pero si tenés idea de usarla poco es suficiente.
Si bien el barrio no parece muy seguro, no tuve malas experiencias y la casa tenía rejas en todos lados. No salí mucho de noche ni volví tarde. De día se podía andar bien.
Está a dos cuadras de las paradas de colectivos que llevan a las playas, al puerto y a todos lados. Eso es muy cómodo, ya que en pocos minutos estás en lugares maravillosos.
A 1 cuadra está el mercado/feria y a la misma distancia hay un supermercado.A 3 cuadras está la terminal de ómnibus. -

Great location - easy walk to bus terminal, close to shops and markets. Can get to most parts of Cancun and the Mayan Ruins by bus. Also easy access by bus to Kukulcan Blvd with it's beaches, plazas and shops. Owners are very friendly and very, very helpful. Unit is as advertised, clean and more than what we needed. Very good value for money.

Very good communication before arrival. The owners even picked me up from the airport. The house is very clean and comfortably furnished. The owners were friendly and helpful.Could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Barb and Lyle sre the perfect hostess ans host. They tried to accomodate me ven my schedule was so complicated. The apartment is small but very cozy.The location is pervfect for me because most of my friends work just a block from the house.If you love to shop, there so many stores around the area and you can walk just a block from the house. The bus station ado is just 3 mins. walk from the house.
But the best part is that Bard and Lyle treated me like a member of the family. They are so accomodating and as a traveller you feel at home away from home.

The owners of this property are extremely kind and helpful.
It's easy to take buses or cabs from the apartment to anywhere in Cancun.
If you're not a "big resort" kind of person, this is a really good option. -

What a charming little home. My friends and I wanted to experience the culture of Mexico as well as the beaches. We did not want to stay in a typical resort. We were glad that we found this place. We were able to walk out to the main street and caught a bus or taxi anywhere we wanted to go. We walked daily to the market, The ado bus lines are only a few blocks away and they are a great way to get around. Also the city bus system is very convenient. The people of Cancun are very friendly and helpful.
The home was clean, comfortable and charming. It is very private, and has a small patio that we girls enjoyed having our morning coffee while watching the folks go by. Water is delivered by a man who daily goes up and down the street singing "aaaggguuuaaa"
We hope to come back again soon!
What I liked least had nothing to do with this little home, but that the beaches for public access are more difficult to find as the Hotels take up most of it. There are public beaches though...you just need to ask. -

This was a wonderful place for my family to spend the Christmas Holidays in Cancun. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly helping us find our way. We rented a car which made it easier not to be in the hotel district. I loved that my children got a taste of Mexico instead of just the hotel strip. I loved walking to the neighborhood bakery and store and having the water being delivered by a man on bicycle calling out "Agua" every morning. The apartment was very clean. We were within walking distance of several markets and great restaurants. In truth we found it because the hotels were so expensive over the Christmas holidays and this was very reasonable. But in the end we were grateful we had stayed here instead of at the hotels (The hotels were fun to visit - we got a day pass for Christmas Day! - but they are like any big hotel in the States). It was a perfect trip. Without a car, this might be a difficult place to stay at as it is not near a big hotel to catch the various shuttles to the beaches and tourist sites. With a car, it was no problem at all.

Wow!!! Fantastic. Was everything we wanted. Found it on the internet. Was a little leary but called the owners who, as it turned out, live in Canada only about 100 miles from our home. Was very impressed with the owners and thought we would give it a try. Was everything the ad said and more. The place was comfortably furnished, close to everything and spotless. All was included except for food and drinking water. Unfortunately we only booked for 3 weeks this time. Will be staying longer next time.

P.S. Also found out they have a place on a lake, in Ontario, for rental in the summertime. I think I just settled all my vacation plans. -

We've been to Cancun a few times and didn't want to stay on the hotel strip,
this place was ideal for us, situated in a quiet little crescent but located just a
few minutes walk from the bus station, large grocery chains, restaurants and
shops.
We enjoyed the Mexican market close by with all kinds of local delicacies,
foods, gifts and pinatas galore! Being just a quick walk to the bus station
afforded us a lot of convenience and a great opportunity to explore some
really great places that we might not have otherwise seen if we had stayed on
the strip.
The house itself was clean and well equipped with a reliable internet
connection. The Owner left some helpful tips for us as well as lots of
information about the area. -

The accommodation was very clean and had everything we required. We enjoyed being able to watch Canada AM every morning via satelite TV, and being able to play our CD's. There was plenty of room for 2 people (and could easily accommodate 4 or 5), and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances.
Our hosts were amazing, and could not do enough to make our stay a memorable one. We are planning to join them again in 2010.
