Dragonfly Villa is a bright, cheerful, spacious Caribbean retreat where you can relax with family and friends. Tucked into the lush north-facing hillside, this vacation rental provides optimum privacy amid a rainbow of tropical flowers as well as banana, mango, orange and cashew trees.

Dragonfly Villa boasts stunning panoramas of water and greenery from each room. Inside, custom faux wall finishes and murals by a local artist make this St Croix rental unique. There are six bedrooms - five of which have balconies providing views of the Caribbean - and six baths.

The main / entry level has a large great room with adjoining island ki...tchen, TV room, and office. There is an air-conditioned king master bedroom with en suite bath, laundry room and another full bath. A large gallery spans the length of the house on the main level providing a large covered dining/sitting area, open deck, barbeque grill.

All four bedrooms on the upper level have views of the Caribbean Sea. The king, air-conditioned master bedroom has an en-suite bath and a private balcony. King and queen bedrooms share a balcony and hall bathroom. Another queen bedroom / solarium has an incredible view.

On the lower, pool deck level there is a large apartment which provides a separate living space, kitchen, game room, pool bath, and an air-conditioned bedroom with twin beds and en-suite bath. This configuration is perfect for large families or multiple couples wanting a bit more privacy (one couple per floor or kids stay in the apartment).

Listen to the surf below, enjoy beautiful sunrises, and look out over the Caribbean Sea and the British and U.S. Virgin Islands to the north all from the privacy of Dragonfly Villa!

* The total number of persons allowed in the villa at any one time is restricted to the number of persons scheduled and paid for. The maximum number of guests allowed in any villa are 2 per bedroom. Should a group misrepresent themselves, they will be required to pay for the excess persons immediately, or vacate the villa without refund. Exceptions are made only for infants; if sleeping in a baby crib, they are NOT included in the villa's total count.

  St. Croix is a quiet island with the friendliest of people. The Cane Bay Area has some good restaurants...Eat and Rowdy Joe\'s. Driving was a challenge...steep, not well maintained roads with many switchbacks added to the challenge of left side driving. We found the roosters difficult. They start crowing around 4am and with young children we started our days much earlier than we wanted. The house was clean and spacious and the bedrooms comfortable. Pool was old but fine. Paul our escort was a great source of information. Big Beard\'s sailing charter was great. We had such a terrific time...we went again!   The house was beautiful. I have a few comments- several of the bathroom showers/sinks did not have hot water. In fact, the water was barely warm. Also, we stayed 5 nights and it would have been nice to have maid service one day. We have rented vacation homes throughout the Caribbean and this service is usually included at least once during our stay.

  Fabulous Villa

  Having just returned from the Dragonfly I wanted to say what a great villa to vacation in. The house is far more beautiful than the pictures relay. It's layout is perfect for large or small groups. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook diverse meals. The bedrooms are spacious and extremely clean.
  
  The only draw back of the villa is the switch back roads, which are extreme!!! Having said that after 3 days they became some what routine.
  If you are looking for a "beach" vacation beware that this villa no where near the beach and walking to even the closest beach is not possible.
  
  Some tips for staying at the Dragonfly are to shop at the Plaza grocery store just east of Frederiksted. It is 6-10 miles (although it feels like 20 due to the switchbacks) was by far the cleanest, largest and well stocked store we shopped in (we tried 3 other stores before we found this).
  
  The best beach for lounging/ swimming was Rainbow beach ( 1 mile west of the beach from the cruise pier) as it got sun all day long and was much less breezy than the east side beaches.
  
  The best restaurant in the area was Eat @ Cane Bay, fabulous diverse menu.
