We offer our guests a relaxing holiday with a country ambiance. The thatched cottage fits in perfectly with the atmosphere of the surrounds and offers luxury accommodation. The unit is totally self catering with a fireplace for the chilly winter nights, and a covered patio for those who like to grill outside. We are only 3.4 km from a magnificent stretch of beach, and shopping is also easily accessible. A variety of other services are available upon request.

We are Located on Chacra (14 Hectares) surrounded by forests and nature. A beautiful beach is a mere 3.4 Km away for those that love to swim and tan.The main road linking Punta del Este and Montevideo is 3Km from our home as well as a bus stop.

We found Cielo Verde on-line and Claudia (the owner, who speaks English) was very helpful. Cielo Verde was to be our "landing zone" as we relocated our lives from the us to Uruguay. We planned to stay 4 weeks and ended up staying twice as long; all of September and October. For us, it couldn't have been a better choice. We fell into Claudia's arms (so to speak), and felt like we had landed in Paradise.
Cielo Verde is about 3 kilometers from the main highway, and is on a quiet road. We heard mostly birds, sheep, cows, and horses.
The cottage, which attracted me from the first viewing, is lovely, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen area is large and is stocked with cooking tools and dishes.
The bathroom has a glass enclosed shower and a comfortable tub.
The barbecue area is wonderful. The views into the countryside caused us to have most of our meals sitting out there under the thatched roof.
We give it a 10. It was the perfect place for us to be introduced to Uruguay.

If you are looking for tranquility and beauty in a country setting, just minutes from the beaches of Uruguay, you will be pleasantly surprised by the Cielo Verde. The setting is enchanting, the accommodations spotless and comfortable and the hosts, Claudia and Karlos were great. Enjoy your stay. I did.
