250 METRES TO THE BEACH, FREE AIRPORT TRANSFER, COFFEE & TEA & BREAKFAST. In the tranquil fishermans village of Canggu, Bali, located on a 250 metres walk to the beach is located Villa Batu Penjuru. Our complex consists of two large luxurious Bed & Breakfast rooms surrounded by a spacious garden and a pool of 12 by 6 metres. In the vicinity are various restaurants to be found, the airport is a 45 minutes drive and Canggu/Echobeach is excellent for surfing. If you prefer rural quiet above the busy area of Kuta, Canggu is the place to go. It's a taxi drive away though to Kuta, Legian or Seminyak for shopping, more dining or nightlife.

Canggu is a small fishermans village, our street Nelayan ends in the see, so not much traffic. Nearby are various restaurants on walking distance, perfect beach for (kite) surfing and a stable for horseriding. From the beach it is possible to take walks to Seminyak, Kuta and Legian. On Bali there is hardly public transport. By taxi or rental car (we can arrange a car with driver) you can at little cost explore the island.

The additional guests per room can only be children up to the age of 11. They will have to sleep on a bunkbed or the sleeping couch.
Since we rent out 2 rooms and there is only 1 availability calendar its is possible that there is still one room availible if only 1 room is booked.

First of all, thanks a lot for the extraordinary hospitality which made my stay despite illness way more enjoyable. Not only recommendable because of John and the personnel, but also regarding
the appartments itself. Rooms are set up with all necessary furnitures (including tv, dvd-player, and a fridge). There is enough room (even for a longer stay), and the rooms get cleaned every day.
Actually, the appartments as well as the garden and pool are even nicer in reality than on the pictures uploaded on the website.

We stayed at the Villa in September 12. As we traveled with a group of four people, we rented both rooms. The rooms are very spacious and equipped with brand new furniture. Furthermore we really enjoyed having our own pool. But probably the best thing about the accommodation is the hospitality of John and his family. You can ask him to call a cab or arrange a tour to discover the island. Especially in our case we were lucky to have John since we needed the help of a "local". Again, we would really like to say "Thank You" and we would definitely come back.

Canggu was the perfect place to get away from the crowded areas of Kuta and Seminyak. We had our own driver for $50 a day so visiting the restaurants and nightclubs of Kuta and Seminyak were easy. Our driver was a great guy with good English.
John helped make our stay in Canggu unforgettable... He got us scooters delivered to our door which we used to explore the Canggu area for the week (these cost less than a McDonalds meal per day!). He also made the best coffee in Bali for us each morning and put up with us making lots of noise each night when we stumbled in at 3am after our big nights out in Kuta! Thanks John! :)
This is a great place to stay if you want to be away from the craziness of Kuta and looking to relax!

Very nice villa, enough space, clean, outdoor shower, tv and dvd player, lovely personal, nice pool for the kids, and we did sleep very well, the place was very quiet.
Only 5-10 min walking to the beach and restaurants.
John and family: thank you very much for your hospitality, we love to come back some time!
