Wow what a wonderful stay from start to finish our family went to Bali to celebrate my husbands 50th so mum dad 3 kids partners and 1 grandchild 2 yrs the ages of adult kids ranged from 19yrs to 25 yrs everyone had seen the photos online of prasada villa however when we walked thru those wonderful gates everyone went wow it was just perfect the staff couldn't do enough for us. Sometimes we ate at the villa all beautiful food other times at the local small restaurants even from a cart that came down the lane. We have stayed in many lovely places but prasada felt like home out of the busy areas. There was something for all of us to do. The kids went night clubbing shopping etc taxis were about $10 round trip for 4 people. Our wonderful driver wyan was such a beautiful man we left it up to him to take us touring he had great ideas and nothing was to much trouble. I recommend booking him as he has a small bus. It was so sad to leave everyone wants to go back soon. Thank you Karen for sharing your fabulous house Sharon

We have been to Bali several times. Ubud, the plush hotels, the private villas and the busy streets, noise and bustle. So this time for something different. After being met by polite and willing Ketut he drove us painlessly to the villa located north west of the airport and on the edge of the busy part of Seminyak. We received a warm welcome from the staff having stepped past the temple and over the Koi turning right into the reception area. This area with its bar for the next week was a great place to chat, meet for expeditions or compare notes while accessing the internet.
The rooms and beds were comfortable, spotless, quiet and cool with outside spacious shower and toilet facilities. Time in the pool with friends was a great opportunity to extend this whole business of relaxing aided by local skilled uniformed masseauses. Our morning walks brought us into contact with the locals going about their business. Lunch either at the Villas from a wide selection of local and international dishes and the evening either locally or in the more up market hotels in town. Ketut our driver was excellent in taking care of getting us there and back with no hassle. He knew the right Hotels, Bars and places to visit.
This was really a splendid visit. Thank you. -

Perth, AustraliaPerfect for a group stay
Left on 11/12/2012 for a stay in October 2012
My first trip to Bali in over 30 years and as part of a six guy "boys trip" I was a little anxious. No need to be. Fantastic trip with the highlight being how comfortable and easy Villa Prasada was. Perfect facilities for a group with a big pool, great dining area, great hanging out area with bar, comfortable cool bedrooms with fantastic en suites plus great food ( especially those full breakfasts - memories of banana pancakes came flooding back) when we were not out in those now wonderful Bali restaurants ( and oh yeah, bars). The happy smiling Villa staff made us feel so welcome and made everything easy for us. The Villa is close enough to the action to be convenient but located far enough away that it is wonderfully quiet with the only noise the babbling stream on the boundary. Set amongst rice paddies and local housing and at the end of a quiet road I really fell in love with Bali all over again. I'll be back...Tips- organise to have the car and driver on call each day - he knows it all, is a safe reliable driver and the cost is more than reasonable - and don't have all meals outside the Villa , the Villa menu is fabulous. Don't over pack your suitcase - the Villa staff wash and press clothes every day. Local SIM cards are ridiculously cheap especially for overseas calls and the staff can organise for you on arrival.

My husband and I, with our three children, their partners and our grandson spent two glorious weeks at the Villa for my birthday. The tranquility was just what we all needed and the staff did an amazing job to make us feel welcome and relaxed. They were very unobtrusive but all our needs were met from what ever meal we ordered to daily laundry and arranging transport, spa treatments and activities. Noora our chef was excellent and the presentation was second to none. We were always greeted with wonderful smiles by all the staff, even the poor security staff waiting for us to return at night before they could lock up. The Villa itself is beautiful and well maintained and is well located for walks to either Canggu or Echo beach where we did a cooking class at Sate Bali. My only regret is I didn't turn left at the end of the road on a walk to see what was in the opposite direction to the beach - next time.
We did a few day trips with a brilliant drive connected to Villa (Ketut Y - ask for him) but we also had some days staying in and around the Villa. The salt pool was extremely refreshing. On those days, Noora prepared some very lovely light meals that we ordered in the morning. He would estimate the cost, we would give him the money and in the evening he would give us the shopping docket and the change.
On the night of my birthday we ordered "Babi Gulang" and left it up to Noora what should accompany the meat. He did traditional Balinese Soup, veg and rice. The flavours were amazing. He also organised a cake with a chocolate 'happy birthday' and candles which he and the other staff brought in and sang happy birthday to me.
A truly relaxing experience and perfect place to spend a family holiday. -

Left on 03/27/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We recently enjoyed a 5 night stay at luxurious Villa Prasada. The occassion was a surprise 60th birthday celebration for my husband with a group of our closest friends.
Our guests loved the Villa and its location. Our morning walks to Echo Beach were a highlight, seeing the locals in the village going about their daily activities. They greeted us as old friends without even one trying to sell us something!
The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious authentic Indonesian dinner prepared by the Chef on our first evening.
Apart from a beautiful meal at Sarong in Seminyak for the birthday dinner, we ate locally. A seafood BBQ at Echo Beach, an organic meal at OM and a very pleasant evening on the verandah at Deus ex Machina - all within walking distance from Villa Prasada.
The girls in our group made good use of the local Massage Ladies, organized for us by the Villa Staff. One remarked that it was "the best massage ever".
Villa Prasada is a beautiful peaceful place to stay away from the hustle and bustle and chaos of Kuta and Seminyak, yet within an easy 15-20 minute drive.
The accommodation is immaculate, spacious and extremely comfortable.
We envy Karen and her family having such a beautiful home to visit in Bali! -

We stayed for 8 days with family & friends and we also used the villa for our son & new daughter in laws wedding reception along with the live band we had there which was a huge success, the villa staff & caterers done a fantastic job. Thanks to the Bali Gods we also had good weather.
We all enjoyed the villa & the meals we had there, staff were great specially little Suli.
Perhaps a little far out but we knew this when making booking, we needed the space for a large party. Echo Beach very close by a 20mn walk or so, close to Deus Restaraunt.
Enjoyed our stay here.

We just arrived home from our first trip to Bali. There were 10 adults in our party , some oldies and our young adult kids . From the moment I emailed indovillas about the villa I was impressed by the professionalism. The booking, the deposit, the conversation about what to do and how things would happen we're easy. We arrived to the airport and were met by our drivers and headed to the villa. It is beautiful, just like the photos. The staff had our beer in the fridge and the chef had our first dinner ready for us. It set the scene for our next 7 days. The quiet effienecy of the staff , the desire to see us enjoy our holiday, see beautiful Bali and organizing our trips. The villa is large and clean, the meals delightful and authentic, the area ,particularly echo beach is easy to access and the staff are true beautiful Balinese people. Overall we loved it. The villa is ay from the hustle and bustle of Kuta ,but we needed the quiet rest aft big days. Well done to all, the indovillas team , I am pleased to say despite my initial anxiety about booking it all over the net ,with the help of the staff and the great Trip advisor we had a ball!

The villa is large, well furnished and easily accommodate 10 people in 5 double rooms. The 14m pool is long enough to swim laps. The staff were helpful and willing to please but not intrusive. The villa is in easy walking distance to Echo Beach. Situated in Canggu you are away from the crowds at Kuta, but still close enough to travel to Kuta if you feel the need to shop/dine.
The staff prepared your personal orders for breakfast and did other meals if requested. Meals were served at the time requested and the meals were certainly good enough such that you didn't need to go out to a restaurant and hence could dine in if you wanted. The Villa has wireless internet access. -

Our stay at Villa Prasada was just sensational. The staff were amazing! Very friendly, polite and always ready to help with a smile. The food prepared by the cook was the some of the best we ate while in Bali. It was also great to be staying out of the hussle and bussle of Kuta. Very quiet, calm and relaxing. Within walking distance of the beach, some terrific restaurants and a lovley day spa. It was just nice to lie by the pool and recharge the batteries without ever having to lift a finger.

What better way to unwind and relax with friends than have a few days at Villa Prasada. We were met by Ketut, the most friendly and endearing driver at the airport. The cool towels were a welcome and refreshing touch after the flight, customs and humidity. Upon arrival at Villa Prasada we immediately relaxed as we enjoyed cool drinks, the magnificent pool and the stunning accommodation. All the bedrooms are spectacular, airconditioned and so roomy and comfortable.
The staff are friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble and the meals are so tasty and presented with love and imagnation why would you want to eat out! Having said that there are so many restaurants within easy reach too.
The entertaining area creates a magical ambience where you can relax enjoying the pool, massages, talk, read or whatever you feel like. I would thoroughly recommend Villa Prasada to anyone who wants to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the busier areas but still wants to enjoy the Bali experience. We will definitely be back! -

We were all (9 adults, 2 children, 2 infants) in Bali for my Dad's 70th birthday. Villa Prasada was perfect as it could accomodate the entire party in 1 location with ample room to spare. The service was fantastic from the onsite staff. The cook prepared awesome meals and we had very off the menu requests which were catered for with no issue and they would present an itemised receipt for the items...which we didn't really care but goes to show that they are honest and trustworthy people. The cleaning staff were great too especially considering the mess 4 children can make. The one repeated comment from everyone throughout our stay was, "this is the most relaxing vacation we've ever had". The Children had such a blast, they were in the pool every morning and evening. They would immerse themselves with Wiggles Dvds during the mid-afternoon heat in the fully air-conditioned & large projector aV room. There is a huge kitchen where you can prepare childrens meals or you can get the staff to prepare some local children friendly food. Overall, the subtle value added service such as a never ending supply of Ice cubes, the rooms cleaned twice a day etc. really made staying at the villa pleasant and truly carefree.

One week at Villa Prasada with good friends or family would be the ideal holiday as it was for us when we joined three other couples for a birthday celebration.
We were met at the airport by our driver Katut who offered us a lovely cooling towel - heaven after clearing customs etc. and after an easy drive (possibly 35 minutes) we came upon "our road" which lead us to an unexpected paradise.
The Villa management/owners had thought of everything and there was a very comprehensive guest directory in our room with so many helpful suggestions.
We thought our room - with the black & white decor was the pick of the four rooms of course, but all had beautiful and well thought out themes. The bathroom, including a huge bath was lovely, however, the best feature was the air conditioned dressing area and being able to put makeup on in air conditioned comfort which isn't usually the case at hotels we've stayed in before.
Meal time was delightful and our chef and his team accommodated our every whim.
We enjoyed numerous massages, manicures and pedicures from a team of young girls in the comfort of our garden bale and even tried Zumba in the Theatre room.
Shopping - was just a 25 minute drive away with our own personal driver - the quality is great in Seminyak.
Coming home to the sanctuary of our Villa was always a pleasure.
We highly recommend you try it!!! Words don't do it justice.

I stayed at Villa Prasada, on the recommendation of my brother Tony, when I came to Bali to celebrate my nephew Kieren's wedding. Tony had been raving about the property, but when I arrived I realised that he wasn't exaggerating at all. From the driver, Ketut, who collected me from the airport to the staff at the villa, the welcome was wonderful. The property itself was wonderful, just what I had imagined a tropical villa would be like. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning was superb after a hot steamy day of shopping. Chef did a great job with his in-house menu, which we used a number of times during our stay. Restaurant quality, absolutely. The day after the wedding, the villa hosted an after party for the guest's. The staff excelled themselves and provided a great menu of hor-deurves which went down really well with the guests. All in all, I had a great time, loved the wedding and had a fantastic time at the villa.

Left on 01/07/2011 for a stay in November 2010
If you are looking for a secluded, luxurious getaway with your friends or family then Villa Prasada is for you! It is the perfect setting for relaxation and restoration. Stunningly appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. Wonderful staff attend to your every need (just be patient as English is a second language for them and be prepared to write requests on paper).
Our family, consisting of 5 adults (no partners or children came) gathered at the villa for a once in a lifetime reunion. Basically we swam, talked, received beauty treatments and massages and ate for 6 days. We went shopping and took a tour two or three times but we were so happy at the Villa that we didn't want to leave it.
By far the most economical and enjoyable way to eat was to have our food prepared by our personal chef. Compared to the other restaurants we tried, his food had amazing flavour and authenticity.
I would definitely recommend Villa Prasada to couples and groups who simply want to relax, talk, read, watch a movie and be pampered in the rural paradise of Bali. -

What a fantastic way to spend time in Bali...from the moment we stepped foot inside the wooden carved double gates and floated across the Koi pond we knew we had found a secluded and quiet retreat in bustling Bali.
I was lucky enough to spend time with a group of friends at Villa Prasada and we all enjoyed our experience immensely. From the luxurious bedrooms (so clean and comfortable) and open air bathrooms (amazing) to the manicured gardens and relaxing open Bale, I really can't put it into words.
I have stayed in many villas in Bali and found that Villa Prasada offered the ultimate experience. The setting truly allowed us to relax and unwind and have a real Holiday. An easy taxi ride into the Kuta/Seminyak area allowed us to fulfil our shopping and restaurant desires. Then, what a pleasure to be able to return to the luxury of the tranquil pool overlooking the quiet rice paddies at the end of a hot but very successful day.
The staff were very efficient and friendly. The Chef was excellent and I found him to be very accommodating as I am a Vegetarian, every dish was absolutely delicious!
Villa Prasada is literally breath-taking and I look forward to returning the place that once only existed in my dreams.

Left on 11/04/2010 for a stay in September 2010
From the moment we drove down past the Rice Paddies towards the Villa, we knew we were in for a wonderul experience. As each of our family members arrived and entered through the main doorway, the expression on their faces said it all. Wow! The bed rooms were spacious and the bathrooms divine- showering under the stars for some, listening to the local farm animals, the geckos, the temple sounds all added to this magical feel that enveloped us. The staff were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. They all loved to help us practice our Balinese, ensure we had everything we needed, were happy to arrange for the Spa staff to provide the massages, manicures and pedicures and travel to the local warung to obtain more Bintang, Ice, Soft Drinks etc. Even the locals were keen to ensure our stay was wonderful, often waving, saying hello and deliveries were always provided with a genuine smile. The closeness to Echo Beach (about 15 mins walk) and the restaurants there ensured we could eat locally if we wished or use our driver to venture slightly further out. Seminyak is only about 20 mins by car and provided the necessary shopping fix together with even more fantastic restaurants to choose from. The Villa was really well maintained and it was so nice to not have mountains of washing to take home. The Chef has a good range of menu choices which is well prepared and beautifully presented. This is one of the cheapest options for eating and the most relaxed as there is no need to go anywhere. Just drag yourself away from enjoying a cocktail by or in the cool pool, up the steps and into the dining room. Having Cocktails or Dining at sunset is something not to miss. We will definitely return to Bali and most assuredly return to this wonderful Villa. Some of our family have already re booked for next year.

We recently stayed at Villa Prasana with 2 large families consisting of four adults, 6 young boys and a girl. We had such a great time at the villa. We timed it perfectly with a week in the hustle and bustle of Kuta and then a relaxing week at the Villa. The kids thought they had landed in Paradise. They were thoroughly entertained just be searching for frogs and lizards in the garden. The lovely security man even helped them out at night with his torch. When the got tired, they watched their new dvd's in the theatre room. The theatre room is a bit musty as it is in a cellar but still looks great and the kids didn't mind. We enjoyed the lovely outside entertaining areas. All the rooms were gorgeous, especially the bathrooms. We ate in the villa a few nights, the chef was amazing and his food was perfect and really really cheap! Some nights we walked down to the restaurants at Echo Beach which was also a nice meal in lovely surroundings. Would be perfect if you wanted to surf. We liked being away from everything, although it did take a while to get some places with the traffic etc. Staff were all lovely. Would definately go back.

Left on 07/18/2010 for a stay in June 2010
We had a wonderful family holiday (5 adults 4 teenagers) staying at Villa Prasada for 4 nights in June 2010. From the moment we booked, the management were very helpful giving us great instructions on what to bring and arranging airport transfers. On arrival we were greeted by staff with cold drinks and made to feel very welcome.
Our rooms were very well appointed, with wonderfully comfortable beds and stunning bathrooms, and thoughtful extras like battery operated lights for those inevitable Bali power cuts.
We had a fully catered family celebration on one evening and the staff were terrific organising everything. The pineapple chicken, a speciality, was delicious. Most importantly, the beer was ice cold!
On the other nights we strolled down to Echo beach and enjoyed a beach BBQ and live music.
The pool area was a great place to hang out during the day, and we also had in-house massages from local massage ladies who came to the villa. The free laundry service was also very much appreciated!
The staff at Villa Prasada are well trained and unobtrusive. The property is also well maintained, with an obvious attention to detail from the management. I liked the location as it was far enough out of the hustle and bustle, but an easy walk to Echo beach and short drive into Seminyak.

Left on 06/28/2010 for a stay in May 2010
Villa Prasada is more of a mansion than a villa! The bedrooms, bathrooms and entertainment space are all very generously sized.
Everything is clean, breakfast is included and if you get the chance to order in; the lunch and dinner made by the chef is fantastic. The food in general in Bali was very impressive.
We found it helpful to carry a business card with Villa Prasada details and mini-map on the back (found in the dining room). All we did was aked the taxi or van driver to head to Changu (chang-oo) and showed them the picture and getting home was a breeze at any hour. To get to Kuta or Seminyak from the villa, we just asked the villa staff or security to call us a car or taxi. Transport in Bali is extremely cheap!
A relaxing day (or several) by the pool is a must. We booked massage therapists to come to the villa 4 days out of 6 to keep us feeling refreshed for a hard days shopping or night out.
This is definatelty the best holiday I've had in years! -

We stayed at Villa Prasada during March, travelling in a group of 8 (friends and couples). For most this was a return trip to the island having previously stayed in hotels in busier sections of the island.
The Villa looks great - modern Balinese influenced architecture, huge air conditioned rooms with gorgeous garden bathrooms. The dining room, bar area and undercover pool lounge area are all built around the huge pool and overlook lush rice paddies.
The area is very peaceful and virtually free of tourists, but close enough to Seminyak for great food and shopping. Echo Beach is a short walk away and also has great food. Most nights we ate in at the villa - the chef is exceptional and both the spring rolls and chicken balls got rave reviews from the entire group (and got repeat requests).
The staff are helpful but inobtrusive, it's easy to order massages and beauty treatments directly to the villa.
Villa Prasada is really peaceful and relaxing, but from its location in Canggu it's easy to head to Kuta for drinks, Seminyak for shopping, Echo Beach for food. We will definitely be returning the next time we're in Bali - which we will make sure is very soon! -

Staff are friendly and will go out of their way to satisfy your every need. Breakfast every morning was delicious with a nice view across the Village. Villa Prasada has a great location,- close to Echo beach where you can have lunch or enjoy a Seafood BBQ for dinner. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are beautiful. Each room has its own spa bath to relax after a day of shopping. I was amazed with the level of service we received. The staff are always around to assist, but never in your way. We will definately return to this amazing country and this amazing Villa!

I along with seven friends was lucky enough to enjoy a stay at the magnificence Villa Prasada. Upon our arrival we were greeted by members of the friendly staff along with a refreshing face towel and beverage. And from that point on the fabulous service did not stop. The staff at Villa Prasada more than live up to the reputation the Balinese have for being friendly.
The bedrooms at Villa Prasada are beautifully appointed (and air-conditioned) and the bathrooms are something else (incredibly large with and outdoor garden feel). Rooms were very clean and tidy and were maintained at this high standard by the staff throughout our stay at the Villa.
The grounds of the Villa are beautifully landscaped and I look forward to spending more time lazing by the pool on my next holiday to Bali.

Melbourne, Australia.A rejuvenating and compelling experience.
Left on 09/01/2009 for a stay in August 2009
Villa Prasada offers the best of 'both worlds'.
A thoroughly restful and revitalising environment, away from the stress and tension of the 'resort areas', but within easy reach of the restaurants and shopping experiences that Bali is famous for, and with legendary Echo Beach just a short stroll away through peaceful padi fields.
Two weeks here and you will be so rested and relaxed that you will think you have been away for months.
The facilities, staff and rural Balinese surrounds ensure Villa Prasada is one holiday destination you will want to re-visit over and over again.
We have already booked our next trip !

Claremont, Western AustraliaPerfect holiday retreat
Left on 08/11/2009 for a stay in August 2009
Villa Presada was a perfect holiday retreat for my friends, husband and I.. The extensive property was like staying at a 5 star resort with all the advantages yet totally secluded and private. Idyllic landscaped gardens and pool/spa and amazing day bed for that shady laid-back spot to read or simply gaze out at the rice paddies and corn fields.
Luxurious furnishings and chic interiors were a visual delight and the large semi-outdoor bathrooms and jacuzzi let in a bit of heaven.
The staff were warm, friendly, efficient and discreet. The meals prepared by the staff were excellent with choices ranging from authentic Balinese cuisine with local ingredients to western style food of the highest standard.
We enjoyed the many different walks around the village, the locals were extremely welcoming, and Eco Beach is in walking distance for a meal at a restaurant or for surf at the beach.
We were able to shop in the bustling and busy Kuta/Seminyak by day and return to the calm and peaceful surroundings of Canguu, ready to relax and enjoy the absolutely immaculate Villa. Massages and beauty treatments were available on tap and provided the ultimate in relaxation after a day exploring beautiful Bali.
We happily recommend Villa Presada to anyone looking for a luxury holiday in Bali and are grateful for the opportunity to share this amazing sanctuary.

ThailandA Wonderful New Experience, A Great Value Property.
Left on 07/21/2009 for a stay in July 2009
This is our 3rd trip to Bali, the first time we have tried a villa rather than staying at one of the many 5 star resorts. The attraction of staying at a villa is the focussed luxury and the relative privacy that only a villa can provide. We are so happy that we chose Villa Prasada for this new experience. We read the many reviews of the property on Flipkey, and based on these high recommendations, booked a stay of a week.
The villa certainly met our expectations and in many cases exceeded them. The sensitive mix of Balinese culture and architecture and contemporary facilities and service provided by the skilled and friendly staff that we experienced fully justified our decision to stay at this excellent property.
We were fortunate to be at the villa at the time the local Balinese fly colourful kites of many designs in the constant high altitude breezes. This combined with the wonderful location, nestled within the rice paddies of Canggu, enhanced the relaxing ambience generated by the property.
Seminyak is close, for both shopping and the excellent restaurants, but the in house menu can hold its own against many of these eating options, in fact we ate in more than we ate out. Echo Beach, with its range of eateries, is a pleasant 2o min walk from the villa and is a great option for casual dining and great sunsets.
The villa?s driver organised a sightseeing trip into the Bali hinterland for us when we asked for an outing to visit a range of local temples and sites of interest. Not speaking Indonesian, it was a significant benefit to have the driver available to translate when needed.
We are now definitely converts to the villa style property rather than large hotel properties. Villa Prasada can take much of the credit for this, as they have opened our eyes to the amazing possibilities of this style of holiday accommodation and have provided a very high benchmark for any other property we stay at to meet, in Bali or elsewhere in the world. -

Having stayed in Bali 2 or 3 times before in the centre of the hustle and bustle, we were delighted this time to be enveloped in the peace and tranquillity that Villa Prasada provided. The villa offers 5 star luxury surrounded by fertile paddy fields which can be peacefully viewed from many vantage points within the villa confines. I loved sitting on the upstairs balcony looking down at the villagers tending their rice and enjoying the lovely cool breeze off the ocean. Maybe we were just lucky but we never found the weather too hot and humid due to this wonderful sea breeze most afternoons.
We also loved the contemporary Balinese open plan design and the way everything was built in a U shape around the pool. The entry through carved wooden doors and across stepping stones over the Koi pond spirited us away into holiday mood. The five spacious double bedrooms each with their own ensuite and very comfortable appointments catered to our every need.
We still had the fun of visiting vibrant Seminyak which was within easy reach courtesy of the villa’s car and driver but it was a relief to return to the villa for a refreshing swim in the pool and a relaxing drink followed by dinner in the dining room which opened directly onto the pool
The gardens are very well cared for, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this lovely villa to our friends. We will DEFINITELY book again. -

Perth, Western AustraliaWonderful relaxing stay
Left on 05/04/2009 for a stay in March 2009
We stayed at Villa Prasada in March for a week. We are a couple in our early 50s.
The villa is well located north of Seminyak out of the hustle bustle but close enough to make shopping and eating out an easy trip. A car is essential and the villa provided a driver and car for us.
The rooms were beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds and a/c was very efficient. The internet worked but was slow, a problem all over Bali! Theatre room had a big screen TV with plenty of films available to watch.
The meals were very nice and the staff very attentive, they even prepared a flower bath for us one evening.
We thought the pool was great and the massages under the losman were reasonably priced and professional.
We walked down to Echo Beach a couple of times and although it is not suitable for swimming (surfing only) the cafes on the beach are nice and the view to die for.
We had a wonderful relaxing time and would definately return. -

I had the pleasure of soaking up the ambience and enjoying the truly relaxing atmosphere at Villa Prasada, Changgu.
The staff are warm and friendly, the property is built to a very high contemporary standard and combines a feeling of peacefulness with one of relaxation and in keeping with the beautiful natural surroundings.
Although my stay was short one, I could easily unpack may bags for a long stay and be extremely satisfied with the comfort, location and suitability of the facility for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday on the unique island of Bali. The bedrooms and bathrooms are fitted out with a very high standard of Balinese design features. The whole property in fact is very well appointed and both the ambience and practicality of the villa layout has been well designed.
I frequently travel in Asia and was struck by the quietness and slow pace of the immediate surroundings of undulating paddy fields, yet the closeness to all the facilities at Echo beach which is only a short walk from the villa.
If you were joining up with another family, this place is for you. The positioning of the accomodation and entertaiment areas are appropriately sited around a 20-odd meter pool which is the centre-piece of the property. I would thoroughly recommend Villa Prasada as a first choice for holidaying in Bali.

Perth, Western AustraliaA warm welcome back to Bali
Left on 05/02/2009 for a stay in May 2009
My wife and I stayed at Villa Prasada earlier this year and can honestly say it was the BEST EVER holiday we have had in Bali (3rd trip).
Our acommodation was spotless, spacious and beautifully furnished, as were the public areas.
The pool was great after a long hot day and not just a plunge pool and the enormous Bale alongside, was marvelous for a quiet read, a massage (I had 2) or simply to peacefully contemplate the surrounding rice paddies.
All the staff were friendly and professional and more than willing to share a few words in Balinese or English.
Villa Prasada is in a very quiet village, yet within walking distance of the beach and its many restaurants. Alternatively, a short drive of 10 -15 mins will take you to the wonderful shopping/eating area of Seminyak.
I would recommend this Villa to anyone wanting 5 star luxury with all the convenince of a hotel and non of the disadvantages. Well done Villa Prasada.
