Our family - my husband (Prince Fussypants), myself (Bali 15 times), my 16 year old (hiphop champ), and 12 year old (swimming pool lover) and my nephew (nurse from Sydney) all have different needs/wants for a holiday and at Villa Mandala nothing was too much to ask for. The manager Michael answered every little query via email from home (Perth) with grace, charm, and prompt responses(in excellent English), so when we left home, I felt very confident about all the little details important to our happy holidays.
The property and pool are superbly maintained by the lovely Nyoman; the food was truly divine, and we mostly ate from the Indonesian menu because it was so beautifully prepared with love from the wonderful charming cook Wayan, with assistance from the laughing Kedek and smiling Nyoman who also cleaned and tidied with discreet and delightful manners. All the staff were always ready with a smile, and a laugh if prompted. We all felt so at home and relaxed we could have stayed on and on.
Despite the wet season, this villa was wonderful in all weather, with a 180 degree view of the ocean, a peaceful temple to one side, a peaceful fishing village with lots of interesting parts to walk to, behind the villa. Vews to Kuta on the other side along the coast, all wonderful in rain or sun.
Although the property is 30+ years old, it has been well maintained and feels like a very comfortable and well appointed home. Access to the beach is two minutes through the superb gardens, and to all of Bali is easy, with the amazing driver Ketut, who goes out of his way to provide the sort of experiences you are looking for. He stopped by the side of the road to get red rice, coffe beans, cocoa pods and showed us things we would never have found on our own.
This was a brilliant family holiday in a beautiful, peaceful, comfortable villa with ocean sounds and sights, and the most amazing staff we could have hoped for. -

We recently stayed at the villa with adult children and partners and it was a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. We liked the location of the villa away from all the hustle and bustle of the main centres having the sound of the sea as a backdrop noise rather than contruction noise as so often happens in Bali. Trips were made into Seminyak and beyond and we found that this always took much more than the 20 mins. as stated on the web site due to all the traffic, more like an hour to Seminyak.The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble, they made us feel like we were staying with friends. Massages and other treatments were arranged at a moments notice. Wayan cooked any food we requested and it always was fantastic.The property was well looked after by all the friendly staff. We hope to return one day.

Everything about Mandala is perfect for family holiday escape. Right from the beginning the manager Michael will make sure your stay at the villa is perfect for you and he is very helpful when you ask questions and have requests for your stay. The villa itself is in a magnificent location within the traditional village of Seseh Beach and right on the beach with amazing ocean views. The villa is surrounded by beautiful gardens that are looked after with great attention every day and a lovely swimming pool. The three bedrooms are great with every modern detail you need for your holiday and immaculately cleaned throughout the day by attentive staff. the villa is a mix of modern and traditional balinese design which provides a beautiful open dining area and relaxation area for lazy days reading and taking in the views and gentle breeze from the ocean. The staff at this villa are special and will look after every request quickly and happily as well as look after all the details that make this villa great for families. The cook is well trained and experienced and will provide any meal requested as well as suggest traditional balinese dishes cooked to perfection. I can 100% recommend this villa for family holidays or groups of couples.

Villa Mandala was stunning from start to finish. I made this booking online and it was seamless. When we arrived we were picked up from the airport and driven to this wonderful villa amidst rice paddies and the ocean.
On arrival, we were greeted by all the staff and then taken through the front door to the paradise that awaited. We were overwhelmed by the beautiful gardens and the tropical Balinese architecture.
The staff were beautiful and attentive to all our needs.
There was nothing that was too much trouble for them.
We were so impressed by our trip that we have already started talking about when we can return.
Many thanks to all at Villa Mandala who made our holiday such a memorable one. -

This villa, as always, was a serene escape frrom the real world. Beautiful views, very well-maintained surroundings, and amazing food made by Wayan. Friendly and helpful staff and a low-key but attentive manager - Michael, all helped to make the trip very pleasant and relaxing. Mandala is in much better condition now than it was some years ago - the care and attention shows.
