Book the three-suite main Villa Sungai or its smaller sister the two-bedroom, couple-friendly Sun...gai Gold (aka the Owners' Villa); or take over both (at a discounted rate) for the ultimate Indo house party. The service begins the moment you step off the plane with the VIP airport butler service and the chauffeured transfers that whisk you to the villa where the chefs and staff are dedicated to you alone. The overwhelming memories of a Sungai experience are the magical location, exquisite cuisine, flawless service and immaculately appointed guest rooms. The personal care extended to children, the round-the-clock chauffeur for touring, shopping and nightclubbing, and your personal PA/concierge are also defining features.   To call the villas beautiful, or luxurious, hardly does them - or the wonderful staff - justice. Every small detail was carefully looked after, even down to the delightful "Balinese Story" colouring books for the children. We feel very fortunate to have stayed at Villa Sungai and to have seen so much of the island. We were particularly lucky to stay at the villa on the weekend of the fourth full moon, and loved the village procession to the spring and then temple. That was one of many highlights of our holiday.

  I just wanted to say a very big thank you. We stayed in Sungai for our friend's Wedding.
  
  We were both blown away by the villas and the service. Made and his team with out of this world, words cant describe how well they treated us. We have never experienced anything like it before (and dont think we will). All of the staff were just amazing and made us feel so welcomed and our every need (and we had a few) were met and with the highest standard. The food at the villa was 5 star and we didnt want to leave for a meal.
  
  It made our trip we cant thank you and the staff enough and hope to be able to come back again one day soon!

  Villa Sungai is in the most idyllic spot. The outlook to the stunning forest and the river was amazing. The two villas were just perfect for our family. We loved the location in a fascinating little village.
  
  The staff/family, under Made's guidance, were outstanding. Everyone went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone from the oldest to little alice who was only 6 months old were cared for lovingly. We were driven wherever we wanted on the island but it was always a pleasure to return to villa Sungai and our kind friends.
  
  Our rooms were not only beautiful but also most comfortable. The attention to detail was marvellous.
  
  The birthday party was a major triumph. The villas looked so beautiful with the extra flowers, ( I'll never forget the huge bunches of tuber roses that we enjoyed every day)curtains, fairy lights, lamps around the pools and lanterns. Made kindly drove to Seminyak to collect our friends and to return them home too. The Balinese banquet was so delicious - Bob has always dreamt of suckling pig!   I just wanted to say a huge thank you from myself and my whole family for providing pure paradise for us during our stay in Bali.
  
  I don't even know where to begin or even if I could find the words to express my overwhelming gratitude towards your amazing staff who quickly became our "friends". They were all exceptional and outstanding and happily looked after every need and request for us. We were treated like royalty.
  
  You truly have found all the magic ingredients to create a unique holiday Pamela. From the setting amongst the Village of Cepaka, the backdrop of the river and lush trees and plants, the luxurious and well appointed rooms and facilities, the stunning infinity pools, and of course the delicious, extensive menu.
  
  I really could go on forever with praise but I will just encapsulate by saying that in all our years of extensive travel this is the first time I have cried when leaving a holiday. It was sad to say goodbye to such beautiful people and the beautiful villas that we called home for 12 days.

  I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed ourselves! It was a truly wonderful honeymoon. The villas are spectacular and the service is second to none. Made and his team are just incredible -- I felt like a princess. And the girls who did our massages were awesome. So much so we had one every day! I will have to send you a few photos from the wedding. The show off the villa wonderfully! Although we booked into Sungai Gold, Made kindly offered to let us try Villa Sungai the last evening. Both are oh-so-spectacular, and I would happily stay in either of them. They are totally indulgent.
  
  We are definitely hoping to come back with a few friends. I have never felt so relaxed in all my life.
