What not to love about Villa ashoka? Location is great in between Seminyak and Tanah Lot, great for me and my husband since my husband love to play golf around Tanah Lot area, while I like to meet up with friends and just rest and relax around seminyak.
Apart from that, the villa it self is very comfortable, and quiet far from the busy traffic that you may encounter in Seminyak. perfect for family gathering.
Ibu Iluh and Pak Bagus always around most of the time to help us with our needs.
The design of the Villa is superb! well, the picture speaks for itself.
Will definetelly recommend for friends and relatives!
Thank you for the pleasant stay!

My fiance and I were in Bali last month for 2 nights to hunt for potential wedding venues in Bali, and we chose ashoka because it was centrally located in between the venues up north, and those down by the peninsula. It also looked great in the website! Above all, the service at this villa was exceptionally professional and personal. We arrived at Bali near midnight, and were picked up by the villa driver at the airport, he considerately asked whether we would want some mid night snack, and if so the villa could prepare for us ahead of time before our arrival. This is a very spacious 3 room villa, with a full length pool, and common living area, a TV games room, and a room with a pool table. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Our bathroom was the largest I have ever seen! Personalized (and very sumptuous) home cooked western breakfast were served to us every morning. Unfortunately, we didn't really have time to spend in the villa much (what a waste! ) during our stay us we were out checking out wedding venues and restaurants till late night. But we spent the last day entirely in the villa, and decided to stay in for lunch as it started pouring outside. we were provided with a very comprehensive list of western and indonesian dishes to choose from. The very absent minded two of us each carelessly left behind 2 items at the villa (including my Samsung galaxy s3 cellphone), and we didn't even realize it at all until the house attendant called our driver 20min after we were on the road. As we were already running late, the house attendant drove a scooter over to try to catch up with our car in the pouring rain. We got everything back and arrived to the airport on time. It was a very pleasant experience, and would love to come back to the ashoka again in the future . Thanks again for everything!

After 2 weeks on a cruise ship, our family wanted a few days to relax before heading back to city life. The villa was perfect.
Getting to the villa took a while mainly because there's a lot of construction going on as Bali prepares for the apac meetings in the fall. But the car pick up arranged by the villa made the ride enjoyable and hassle free.
Villa is exactly as pictured. The living room is on the main floor with 2 staircases on either side leading up to the bedrooms and TV room. All 3 bedrooms were very spacious with huge bathrooms. The 2 master bedrooms overlook the pool and neighboring fields. It was very peaceful and relaxing.
Service was spectacular. The family gathered for a late breakfast every morning and then just relaxed by the pool. Food at the villa was pretty good. Breakfast was eggs, sausages and pancakes. We ate lunch at the villa every day. The western menu was ok. But I personally preferred the local dishes our cook was able to whip up.
I do note that there are quite a few stairs leading up to the bedroom. May not be ideal for young kids or elderly who have difficulty walking.

Of all the Bali villa's I have stayed in, this is the best by far. The villa is outstanding with great indoor and outdoor spaces and large bedrooms which easily accommodated the seven guests (4 adults and 3 children). Little things like universal power points highlight the detail which has gone into the design and build of this villa. All of these thing plus wonderful staff, excellent food and service, good security make Villa ashoka a great place to unwind and relax.
On arriving at the Villa my husband's and I first thoughts were 'wow' such a beautiful architecturally designed villa - an "east meets west' decor which keeps the feel of Bali within its walls. The grounds of the villa were impeccable and the pool and outside living areas had an awesome view of the neighboring rice fields.
Very good quality linen, comfy huge beds and quality amenities throughout the whole villa. Not to forget - Bathroom that is nearly as big as the bedroom complete with its own private jacuzzi!
The staff at the Villa although discreet were always on hand. Our meals were prepared by the inhouse cook Iluh - great food! She could cook both Indonesian and Western food however we opted for the Indonesian/Balinese menu and prices were very reasonable.
Bagus the villa supervisor was very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable.
Overall our stay was very relaxing and memorable the only thing wrong with it was that we didnt stay long enough - but there is always next time.
Total escape - a wonderful, relaxing, family getaway.

Villa ashoka Canggu is a beautifully designed home, with a tranquil, serene ambience. A perfect escape from the pressures of the modern, urban life.
The location is a good balance - a short drive from the Seminyak scene, but far enough away to be immersed in the rice terraces and, quiet, local environs near Canngu. About a mile to the nearest beach, and similar distances to local shopping and other amenities.
This recently-completed, contemporary villa is tastefully furnished, well appointed, bright and airy. Very comfortable accommodations for a large family, or 2~3 couples to share.
We spent about half of our vacation out sight-seeing or on the beach at a Seminyak or Legian. But the other half of the time we stayed local, chilled out in the villa, enjoying the pool, an in-house massage, a stroll through the rice fields, or immersing ourselves in the local community.
Finally, but most importantly, our stay was made most comfortable and memorable by the discreet but helpful staff, led by the always-smiling and ever-helpful Bagus, our concierge during the vacation.
We ended the vacation thoroughly relaxed and reinvigorated. I highly recommend the Villa ashoka Canggu experience!

If you can afford it, do it. If you can't afford it, do it anyway. This villa was fantastic in every way. The villa itself is thoughtfully designed, well planned and has amazing views from the two main bedrooms of paddy fields, it is as relaxing as it gets. The bathrooms are huge and amazing. The trap door billiards area was a treat. And the service from the caretakers was top notch without being in your face.
The only downside for us, if there is one at all, is that it is not really walking distance to the beach. However, this is not a problem since a driver comes with your rate and he will take you anywhere, anytime. We went surfing 1 hour away at 5:30 in the morning, and the driver was on time and friendly.
Fantastic villa, tranquil setting, kites flying everywhere, if you can't relax here you have some serious issues.
