The contemporary styled Villa Asante, complete with four bedrooms and a swimming pool, is located just 200 meters from the beach in the fishing village of Canggu on Bali's southwest coast.
The property consists of three buildings set within a big lush garden, together with an amazing 20 x 12 meter pool and ‘bale' relaxation pavilion. The main two-storey building incorporates the bedrooms and a comfortable TV and Games room, while the two, single-storey, open-sided pavilions house the living room, the dining area and kitchen.

Villa Asante is located in the fishing village of Canggu, just 5 minutes' walk from the rugged beach, which is renowned for its world-class surf breaks. The area is dotted with some of the most impressive villas on the island and the view is enhanced on clear days by the magical sight of Bali 's mountains. This out of town setting offers the double attraction of being close to the shops and restaurants of Seminyak, while also presenting a fascinating insight into the traditions of rural Bali. Cows are herded through the fields, rice is planted and harvested throughout year, and the sound of ritual music is carried on the breeze.
The Beach House Restaurant, 200 metres from the villa at Echo Beach, is the place where the local community gathers in the evenings to watch the legendary sunsets. A variety of eating areas and tables spill out onto a beachside buff; there is a comprehensive international menu, together with a daily barbeque of fresh fish, lobster, giant prawns, clams, steaks, kebabs etc. Live music, performed by accomplished local bands, takes place on Sunday evenings, starting at around sunset. This is great social scene, it can get very busy and lively, and the smaller local warungs (eateries) beside the Beach House, accommodate the overflow of customers.
Easily accessible sporting amenities include the ‘Canggu Club', offering a state-of-the art gym, a 25-metre swimming pool and a tennis & squash centre. The nearby ‘Nirwana Bali Golf Course' was designed by Greg Norman, and was voted the number 1 golf course in Asia; it is situated beside the dramatic, waved-lashed sea temple of Tanah Lot.
Guests staying at Villa Asante may also enjoy visiting Hotel Tugu, situated a few minutes' walk away, beside the beach at Canggu. At the beginning of November 2012 my daughter and I stayed with two friends and their daughters at Beautiful Villa asante. We had the most wonderful time, from the hassle free pick up at the airport to the moment we left to fly home. I have stayed in many beautiful places around the world but Villa asante would have to be one of the most luxurious. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful with tranquil, lovely gardens and huge living areas. The staff are attentive and were gorgeous with our teens. Every little thing that could be done to make our holiday perfect was on hand from the wonderful butler service to finding electrical adaptors in the bedrooms as of course we had forgotten ours. If you want to leave the Villa, its only a short walk to Echo Beach and its vibrant cafes and having a driver on hand made shopping in Seminyak easy. We took advantage of the in house spa treatments which were amongst the best I've ever had, and we were happy to have various restaurants recommended to us. All in all it was a wonderful holiday experience and I can't wait to go back.

The staff at Villa asante are lovely, so friendly and accommodating. The villa design is perfect...heaps of space for everyone's different activities. It's on a large block, with a great garden for family sports and a huge pool which is perfect for both toddlers or older kids. The bedrooms are fantastic with an amazing bathroom that's looks onto a private garden and has an outdoor shower - divine! The villa is 5 minutes walk from Echo Beach which is great for surfers and has good family restaurants and coffee spots. The villa also has membership to a club 5 minutes away where there are tennis courts, a gym and other sporting facilities. The villa is only 30-40 minutes drive from all the amazing shopping and restaurants of Seminyak. It's easily one of the best villas we have ever stayed at - there's something for everyone!

The hospitality from the villa staff is something you must experience. Always ready to please and with them around it adds so much pleasure to the entire stay. Apart from that, the villa is very well decorated. The design and selection of the furnitures are tastefully selected. Room amenities are sufficiently provided. Beds are very comfortable. Not to forget to mention, the villa chef did a great job. Food was fantastic! During our stay, we didn't visit much since the traffic in Bali cannot be avoided. Staying in the villa seems a better choice for my family. What I like best? The villa, the team and the food:) And what I dislike? The Mosquitos! However the staff did what they can to protect us from it! Thanks Dek Win:)
