Perfect spot to stay in Cannon Beach

Left on 03/28/2012 for a stay in March 2012

I took my husband to Cannon Beach for his 30th birthday. This place was recommended by a friend who used to live there. It's like your own little apartment, with a nice comfy bed, a full kitchen, kitchen table and bathroom. It's such a great deal for what you get. My favorite part was it's location. It's right above a sweet little coffee shop in the middle of one of many shopping villages. It's a quick walk anywhere, including the beach. The owners were super nice and accomodating, gave us recommendations for restaurants and bars to visit. I would definitely stay there again.

Urban Hip Feel In a Small Coastal Town

Left on 03/24/2012 for a stay in February 2012

The room was very clean and new. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils; the bathroom had plenty of supplies. The furniture was comfortable and clean. It is an awesome location right in the little village - walk down stairs for coffee, or pizza, or shopping. A short walk to the beach. We went for our anniversary and never had to use the car - we walked to the theater and saw a play, walked to restaurants, walked to the grocery store for our meals in. It is a great hide away! I've already recommended it to a couple friends!

Love the Inn at Village Centre

Left on 03/24/2012 for a stay in February 2012

We have stayed there a couple times during my art shows at Dragonfie. I love it for we can walk anywhere in town for the bakery, restaurants galleries and not have to move the car. It is always a great place to stay . I highly reccommend the Inn at the Village Center. I think it is one of the secret places in town. Actually I wonder about giving a testimonial for I want to be able to always book them when we go to Cannon Beach! Catherine and Fred Foster

Great Location- Some areas were lackng

Left on 08/16/2011 for a stay in July 2011

The location of the Inn at Village Centre can not be beat. It is in the middle of the town square so restaurants, grocery, and the other attractions are less than a five minute walk. The room that my friend and I stayed in was upstairs immediately over a pizza place and and art gallery and less than a three-minute walk from the beach, and maybe a 15-minute walk from the famous rocks off the coast. There are not many amenities offered; But keep in mind it is not a hotel, it a a vacation room (so no pool, hot tub, continental breakfast, etc.)

      Good:

      Size for price per night.
      Easy access
accommodating hosts (However, they were sometimes hard to get a hold of)
      Location was great!
Adequate bedding (1 full/queen bed and a fold out couch)
Utensils for cooking (pots, pans, utensils)
More than enough towels for two days.
Art gallery from below provides one complimentary 11x14 photograph to remember your stay with

      Not so good:

No working a/C if it was available (There was a thermostat, but we could not tell if it was hooked up to central a/C)
No iron for wrinkled clothes. We were attending a wedding so this was a must. However, the woman who was in charge of the keys and the art gallery gracious offered to steam our clothes at the store across the square. It only became a problem when we needed to smooth out more clothes later in the evening when she wasn't there.
Floor did not seem well vacuumed.

The people were very helpful. We ended getting in late at
night so they left key hidden for us. Room was clean, roomy and comfortable and close to the ocean front.

      The best little hideaway place

Left on 05/19/2010 for a stay in April 2010

This is a perfect place to stay if you like the town area. Like who doesn't. Located above George's gallery and the pizza place it is a nice 1 bedroom apartment. Quiet, clean, comfy, & windows that open to let in a great breeze. We love the courtyard feeling, and we can get anywhere in the city in 5 minutes or less. Great parking on the main road, you can leave your car all during your stay and it is very safe.

The very nice and adorable Aneka(works the gallery as well) is delightful, charming and so very helpful. She is always there to offer you advice(if needed) and makes certain your stay is perfect.

Prices are more than fair, thinking they might want to put in an air conditioner for those ah so very few hot days the beach will bring.

Will always stay here if available.

      Inn at Village Centre

Left on 05/19/2010 for a stay in June 2009

I stayed at the Inn at the Village Centre with my boyfriend last summer and it was amazing. We only had a short time to plan our vacation and we needed something inexpensive. We found this great little flat over an art store down town Cannon Beach. It has a little kitchen filled with pots and pans so you can cook and you don’t need to go out to eat for every meal, this cut our expenses way down. The place was very clean and put together nicely. When we looked it up online we were concerned there was not a bathroom because when we looked on the website there was no mention of one and there were no pictures online but we took out chances and indeed, it did have a quaint little bathroom. The only complaint I had was the window overlooks a patio were people sit out to eat. I think it is attached to a restaurant downstairs but we had to keep the blinds drawn the entire time or we were stared at. It wasn’t a huge deal and there probably isn’t anything that can be done to fix it, just draw the blinds. In conclusion, we will come again. It was beautiful and inexpensive compared to other hotel prices.
