Sandcastle B3 is a pet friendly, upper level condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a wood burning fireplace, a fully functional kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a wonderful deck for grilling on the Weber charcoal grill or enjoying the sunset through the Pine trees. Sandcastle B3 is located in the southern part of Cannon Beach in an area called Tolovana. The Tolovana area gives you a taste of what Cannon Beach has to offer with it's locals favorite bakery Waves of Grain, The Warren House Pub, Mo's ocean front restaurant, and a small little convenient store for those last minute items.
To help you get a sense of how the condo is laid out... bedroom number one is located on the east side of the condo and has a king bed, a large walk in closet, a bathroom with a tub shower combo, and a TV. Bedroom number two is on the west side of the condo with a king bed, a TV, and a sliding door with its own access to the deck along with a Jack and Jill door to the second bathroom which can also be accessed from the living area. The living room in B3 has a TV, a queen air bed, and a sliding door that opens up to a spacious deck which provides horizon views of the ocean. The kitchen is nice and open to the living area and has two bar stools for onlookers keeping the cook company. There is also a small dining table that opens up allowing 4 guests to sit and eat. Looking for something to do?
Enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub that the condos have access to or cross the street to take a stroll along beautiful Cannon Beach. Sandcastle B3 sleeps 4 guests comfortably although its maximum capacity is 6. It's perfect for 2 couples with children who don't mind an air-bed or even a few guests who don't mind being cozy and close. Call our office to book your dream vacation in Sandcastle B3.

We have rented Sandcastle Condos for well over 20 years and find the location and amenities top notch. Many of the condos, including B3 are showing their age, but we still consider them a great place to stay. The walk to the Rock is always great fun, beach access is easy, and the pool and hot tub are an added bonus. B3 is well appointed and comfortable - the beds are much better than our last visit and the kitchen is stocked with everything you can think of. We had some trouble with the lights shorting out in the bathrooms when we used our hairdryers but the problem was quickly taken care of by Cbvr. Our granddog enjoyed his first visit to the ocean and a good time was had by all. Halloween in downtown Cannon Beach is great fun!

This place was advertised as $150 a night but ended up being closer to $225 a night once all the fees were added.
The unit also advertised a sleeper sofa but it has been replaced with a regular sofa. The rental company should update the information and pictures on the FlipKey web site. The info and photos on the web site are for the old sofa. Instead of the sleeper sofa, there's a blow-up mattress for the 5-6 persons to sleep on.
The place is also showing its wear and tear and is in need of a serious updating.
We had to park on the street because there weren't enough spaces in the complex's lot.
The good points of this unit include the location--about a block from the beach. And the beds in both bedrooms are nice and big.
Would we stay here again? Maybe for a true $150 per night, but not $225.

The condo met our family needs very nicely. Very large bedrooms with adjoining baths was great. Kitchen was well supplied and accessible. Living room/dining room area was a little crowded. Condo across from Tolovan Inn and Mo's restaurant. Can't see the ocean from the condo. About two city blocks from the beach access. The condo needs a little work done on it (i.e. vinyl curtains missing a few slats; screen door doesn't lock). The Cannon Beach Rental people are very good, nice, friendly, accommodating, etc. to deal with. The condo allowed dogs which was great.

The condo was perfect --comfy & roomy, and the customer service with the rental company was also excellent! I loved that it was so close to the beach & we could get up early to go walk. Loved to be able to use the pool & jacuzzi - that area was clean and well taken care of. Will rent from again.

Terrific accomodations, comfortable, for family. The kids enjoyed the indoor heated pool, when they weren't at the beach just across the street. The communal barbeque area providied ample space for the families in our group to gather. The staff at the Rental Company gave great service, and made us feel very welcome and cared for!
Our stay was the most relaxing vacation of the year.

We were at CB to celebrate a special birthday and Christmas. Cbvr went out of their way to make our experience fabulous. I was a little anxious about not being right on the ocean, but staying at the condo made us feel like we were actually living at the beach, and the ocean was very close. Everything was great.

Very pleasant stay. The stove was a little tricky but we figured it. The couches were a little hard to sit on due to the hide a bed. The bath in the front needs an upgrade, but everything worked. We would rent this condo again. Thanks for the excellent service.

With the exception of some utensils missing and a sliding glass door that was difficult to open it was a very good value for the price. A short walk to the beach and a nice pool and jacuzzi to relax in after a nice day at the beach. The bedrooms were much more spacious than expected so that was nice. It served us well - we would definitely use again.

Nice place for the price, good to have pool access; great location for walking to the beach--not far! Nice to have washer/dryer in house. Dining table was too small, and a few lightbulbs needed replacing, but not a big deal.

It was a pet-friendly vacation rental that, to our delight, did not have a "pet-friendly" scent from previous pet guests. It was clean and comfortable for our family, as well as for our two airedales, and it met our needs entirely.
Overall good experience, but a little far from town

Service at check-in was good. They were very friendly and we were able to check in early which made it easier to get our kids down for a nap.
The condo a little small for our family. We had four adults and 2 kids. We could not all sit around the table for meals (it fit maybe 4) nor we sit at the counter if the table was moved out away from the wall.
It was located only 2 blocks from the beach, which was nice and there was a small park and couple of resturants close by. However, the downtown area and Haystack rock was about 2 miles away. Which meant we had to pack the kids in the car if we wanted to go into town.
