Located in the heart of historic midtown's Presidential Street neighborhood, Sea Salt is a pet-friendly, two-story delight. This recently renovated home offers parking for 2, plus a one-car garage. The well-manicured yard has a fully enclosed backyard fence and patio area to enjoy the afternoon sun or evening fire. Walk out the front door and you are on the corner of charming Hemlock Street which leads to galleries, shops and restaurants. Or, just go 6 houses down quiet Jackson Street and put your toes in the sand without even walking down steps!
When you return, rinse the sand off with the outdoor shower head, and enter into a lovely si...tting room with a flat screen TV and comfy furniture (including a queen sleep sofa). This level offers a full bath w/ shower, a sizable laundry room with a full sized refrigerator and microwave, and a bedroom with a Queen bed, flat screen TV, and west-facing window.
When you head up the stairs, a tall window facing west hints that you are just about to glimpse the magnificent Pacific. The spacious upstairs living room has a comfortable seating area with a gas fireplace and another flat screen TV. The open-floor plan includes a shared dining room with a counter-height table that seats 8. The adjacent kitchen, with an Italian-tiled back-splash, has matching stainless-steel appliances and is extremely well-stocked. If you prefer, enjoy the roar of the ocean and smells from the grill at the outdoor dining table of the covered deck which spans the length of the house. Down a short hallway off the Living Room you will find a full-bathroom with a skylight and south-facing sunny yellow bedroom with 2 twin beds. The third bedroom with its west-facing window (with a glimpse of Haystack Rock), flat screen TV and King bed is as tranquil as the sea. Stylish art is present throughout the house.
When you visit Sea Salt you will be amazed that this comfortable, quiet, well-designed home which will sleep up to 8 is so close to it all!

My wife and I, our four children (10 and under) plus my mother-in-law stayed in this home which turned out to be perfect for us. Close to the beach, close to downtown, close to everything. The home is on the corner of Hemlock which is on a busy street but that wasn't an issue for us. The home is well appointed, the kitchen is great, the deck area is perfect for Bbqing and hanging out. We stayed for about 1 week this past summer and loved it.

Our second family (8+2 babies+3dogs) visit to the "Sea Salt" was once more a fabulous family vacation. The home is well appointed and has absolutely everything that any family could need...lots of dishes, fridge space, comfortable furniture, large deck, patio, backyard, outdoor fire pit to toast marshmallows for s'mores. The washer and dryer were great as it allowed the "Moms" to pack light for the children. Midway through our vacation the question was asked by all..."Can we come back next year"? Can you guess how we answered? Why, Yes, of course!
Comfortable and convenient Cannon Beach family lodging

We wanted a place with easy beach access and within walking distance of town center, and with enough bedrooms to accommodate parents and grown children. Sea Salt had all that, plus a well-stocked kitchen for group meals and a fenced back yard for the dog. The location on Hemlock made for great people-watching from the deck or patio, although the fence was a bit too close to dogs passing on the sidewalk for our dog's taste so we didn't let him stay outdoors without us. This is a comfortable home with nice-but-not-fussy decor, and I recommend it.

House is really nice especially since we had teenagers and dogs. A lot of room to spread out. Big deck to keep the dogs on with their food and water etc. The only drawback to the house is that it is a bit noisy with traffic from Hemlock Street. The only thing on the wish list for the house is to finish the fencing for the backyard so we could put the dogs out there without worrying about the busy street. Otherwise, the house is perfect!
Fantastic, newly updated house in a perfect location

House was great and centrally located between the two villages and the beach. Hemlock street was very busy during the day but nothing at night. After looking at some other rentals closer to the beach with a better view and much cheaper for the week, we're not likely to rent this house again. I think we overpaid by about $600 dollars

We traveled to Cannon Beach for the Goonies 25th anniversary and my daughter's 1st birthday. We met my parents and my mother-in-law in Oregon to stay for 10 days at our favorite beach. It was our first time renting a home there and were very shocked and disappointed with our original location. Cbvr immediately addressed our concerns by providing 3 alternatives for us and we ended up at Sea Salt...an absolutely gorgeous home in a prime location. We had a wonderful time and would definitely use Cbvr again! Thank you for a memorable vacation!

The house was great, the layout with two beds
upstairs and one downstairs fit our needs perfectly.
It was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen is
updated and has everything you need to cook a great
meal in. The yard is very nice too although not dog
friendly as it is not fully enclosed by the fence.
Walking distance to everything and just far enough to
enjoy the walk. Wifi, flat screens, comfy
beds...really - who needs more? Oh, did we mention it
is in the same block at the beach. Wow! It would be
impossible to understate how awesome it was. We can't
wait to come back!
