Every now and then, a home as special as the Sea Mist is discovered as a rental. Quality and workmanship are evident in every room, and the beauty and decadence will make you want to stay forever! Located on a quiet side street in the south end of Cannon Beach, Sea Mist is less than a block to the beach, with nice views of the ocean and Haystack from upstairs.

The Sea Mist is a lovely vacation rental in Cannon beach. Stayed there with my husband, sister and friends with two children (7 and 12). The house is located a short block and a setof stairs from the actual beach. The furnishings have been updated I think since the pictures were taken. Everything was great. Everyone had their own rooms and there were also two on suite bathrooms. The kitchen was large, clean and well equipped. It was nice to be away from home but with every comfort of home. The washer dryer and dishwasher were great as we were at the beach every day and cooked all our meals at home. The gas barbecue was also a bonus. As the weather wasn't great every day it was nice that the house was large and spacious so that we were all able to be in the living room/kitchen but didn't feel crowded. The free wi fi was also nice.
Again, it was nice to be away at the beach and away from home but with all the comforts of home. Can't wait tomgo back next year. -

really nice house for groups-the kitchen/dining and living area are open and comfortable w/ balconies on both north and south side of house, working gas grill incl. problems were inefficient ice maker in freezer so must buy ice for bigger groups, showers drain poorly ?d/t sand build-up but that's about it. The rental group was great at accomodating a date change-would use them again!

The home was roomy, warm, and comfortable. Has all the ammenities needed for a typical families needs. Three of the four bedrooms away from the main floor activities provided separation needed for sleep. Great access to beach and some of the best ocean views. Close to all types of shopping. The aggregate for the driveway needs to be pulled up to the same level as the concrete pad. Light bulbs should be replaced when burned out. Carpet should be cleaned for late year guests.

At Cannon Beach for my son's beach wedding with a lot of extended family. This rental really added to our enjoyment and relaxation for an important week.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was in a great location and so close to the beach. The property was very spacious and let us have a large family gathering while giving everyone their own space if needed. It was the perfect relaxing week for my family who was visting from Boston. They fell in love with Cannon Beach. Our only complaint would be that the dryer did not work very well and it took multiple times to dry anything. Other than that, we will more than likely rent this property again when visiting the area! Thank you!

Great home, spacious and accommodating to a large group. The only issues we had was the lack of towels, forcing us to laundry several times while on vacation ( my wife didn't like that at all). The dryer was also a problem in that it vented into the laundry room and not outside ( something I fixed several days into our stay).. Really though it was a great place, easy access to the beach and somewhere I would go back to...

This was the 2nd time that we've had the pleasure of staying at the Sea Mist. It's location in Cannon Beach gives you a great view of Haystack Rock right from the living room window. A few steps down the road and you're on the beach. The house sleeps a large number of people comfortably and this is our house of choice for all future Cannon Beach vacations.

The Sea Mist is a fabulous property! It has plenty of room for a group of friends or family. It basically has two masters. The kitchen is huge and gorgeous. The open concept is perfect for family time.
Two minor little tips--someone needs to go to Ikea and buy some glassware and I would get the sectional cleaned or recovered.
Otherwise--AWESOME. -

The house is located just a short walk from the beach. There are fabulous
views from the decks and the living areas. The kitchen set-up is wonderful.
We booked it because we needed three bedrooms and three bathrooms. That
was great. Also important to us was a hot tub. We were very disappointed
when we arrived to find a lock on it. We called the rental office and were told
that the owners knew it needed to be fixed, but they didn't have any
immediate plans to get it done. Big let down!
The bones of the house are great. The furniture is worn and shabby. The
towels and linens are on the edge of marginal. It would take so little to make
this a luxurious stay. Good fluffy towels, a few extra rugs on bathroom floors,
a good couch and a few chairs would have made it worth the money we spent.
We contacted the rental agency about the hot tub and received a $200 refund.
We felt they were fair in that regard. -

This home has become our annual getaway for our group of Football Moms. We enjoy the big open kitchen and dining area for our meals. The Surfer Moms in our group are close to the ocean waves, while the rest of us enjoy the views and warmth of the fireplace. Thanks for providing the BBQ grille and propane canisters.

Really nice house. Local access to the beach is kind of dangerous, so if your family includes elderly or really small kids you might look elsewhere. Great kitchen, great living area.

This wonderfully appointed house was used as a headquarters for a large family gathering. While not all family members stayed there due to accomodation restrictions, we all gathered there for dinner, a bon-fire on the beach, and late night stories. The layout of the house was very conducive to a most positive experience. Everyone had a great time. The people who DID stay there were well rested and cheerful about their stay. We all LOVED this place.

Our family stayed in this lovely home this past summer and felt as if it
were our home. It was clean, warm and welcoming. The home came
equipped with most of what we needed. The management company
supplied us with what extra items we requested and were quick to
repair any small problems that occurred.
We highly recommend this home as a place to relax and feel like you
are at your second home on the beautiful coast of Oregon.
We hope to revisit soon. -

We came to this house for my 21st birthday. I wanted somewhere more relaxing than Vegas, and somewhere where I could still have all my family come over! I have never been to the oregon coast and thought that it was wonderful! THe house was very big! and everyone had a bed. I had three cousins, my sister and her boyfriend, my parents and my boyfriend and I. It was only 3 minutes to Cannon Beach and only 10 minutes for a more livelier Seaside! The beach was wonderful; cold at that time of year but very romantic! My family did a lot of shopping, eating and we went to the arcade in Seaside about 4 times! We also found a place to go crabbing! Overall the stay was fantastic!
