Cove Cottage is perched on a hill overlooking Cove Beach, Oregon. Located between Cannon Beach and Manzanita, the house is surrounded by old growth forests of Oswald West State Park. Parts of the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Sanctuary are visible from the living room.
Enjoy the sound of the ocean and watch shooting stars at night in the Marquis 3-person hot tub.
Cove Beach is one of the least known beaches on the Northern Oregon Coast. During low tide, a vast sand beach is exposed at Cove Beach. Because most people don't watch the tide tables, it is common to have the entire... 2-mile beach to yourself -- a rare treat not only for Oregon, but for most of the world
During high tide, you can drive one mile to Arch Cape Beach where there is always sand. Or, within 7 miles you can visit Manzanita Beach (7 miles long), Hug Point Beach, Arcadia Beach or Cannon Beach -- each of which offer miles of scenic sandy beach.
Cove Cottage was recently completely remodeled. The 1500 square foot home features a panoramic ocean view, a large great room, 3 bedrooms, an upstairs/loft with spiral staircase, all new appliances, gorgeous wood floors, and an 1100 square foot deck made from sustainably harvested Red Balau Mahogany.
Built in 1969, this was one of the first houses on Cove Beach, Oregon. The unique gambrel design requires no interior walls or support posts for structural support. The giant connector beams are 24 feet long. The wood floor in the great room is made from reclaimed bleacher boards from an old school gymnasium. The wood is clear, vertical-grained Douglas fir of a quality no longer available and there are no knots in the entire floor.Read more

We loved Cove Cottage and Falcon Cove. The landscape, house, and our time there was perfect. The open feeling of the house and yard was a great fit for our family. I loved cooking dinner while watching the kids playing on the deck with the sun setting behind them.

We visited Cove Cottage with my husband's parents. Even though we had a rainy 3 day stay, everyone immensely enjoyed the beautiful scenery and my in-laws kept remarking how relaxed they felt. The house has everything that you need to stay in comfort. We particularly enjoyed the wrap-around windows in the living room, the swing in the living room, and our bird friends who dropped by daily on the deck. :) We loved Cove Cottage and felt that the only drawback was not having a bathroom upstairs. We would love to return to this cozy home next year! :)
Great house / Amazing view

This house, the views and the surrounding area was great! Lots of room(s) to spread out and the beach was just a short walk away. The tidepools were amazing - worth the walk down the beach.
