Comfortable and amazing views in a wind rain storm

Our birthday party, all family members and all females, loved the house and the process went smooth and easily .The staff at Cannon Beach rentals couldn't have been nicer and anymore helpful.
The rain did get blown into the house thru a drip from a window. No biggie , more worried about the wood floors then anything else. The sauna was amazingly fun and warmed us to our core. The comfortable living room where we could visit, play games, watch movies fit all 7 of us easy. It was just what it looked like and better.
We never could figure out how to turn the volume up more on the T.V. and cause the wind was blowing so hard it was hard to hear. We managed just fin

Beautiful location, and very comfortable home. If you like spending time on the beach or just kicking back and watching the waves roll in, this place is perfect. We had a bonfire every night, just steps from the back deck. Beachfront is an understatement, it almost feels like you are on the beach while sitting in the living room. Highly recommended.

Beautiful home, lots of stairs so keep that in mind with elderly or infirm guests. I liked the fact that the house was close enough to walk to Haystack Rock and far enough away to keep the crowds down. The bathtub in the mastersuite is impossible to fill with the current hot water heater. Other than that, the house was most enjoyable.

We spent ort second Thanksgiving enjoying the blessings of family and a wonderful location in one of our favorite vacation spots. The Beach Haven home allowed us to relax, view great beach and ocean action and give our family some lasting memories.

The location is amazing, the house pretty darn nice with some great perks - mainly the huge tub/jacuzzi downstairs and a sauna on one of the floors. The floorplan itself was just okay, but it certainly had everything you need, and obviously wonderful views.
I loved it, and would stay there again unless I could find a better value. You do pay for the location and amenities, but overall a great experience.

My daughter, son-in-law and two baby grand daughters had a wonderful relaxing Thanksgiving retreat at "the ocean house" (Beach Haven) dubbed by the 2½ yr old. Each time we went out to walk on the beach she was always anxious to get back to "the ocean house."
We have been spoiled in the past staying at the Stehpanie Inn and then children came along :) Well, at "the ocean house", we had the same great view and easy access to the beach and the home was very accomodating to our needs and desires. We truly felt at home and would definitely consider returning. Thank you for the opportunity to share in enjoying a lovely spot in Cannon Beach! The Cannon Beach Vacation Rentals folks were very efficient and friendly and made the entire process of inquiry, to signing on, to checking out quite easy. The house had everything we needed. And the view is very special. We make another wonderful family memory in Cannon Beach!

My two Portland area girlfriends and I stayed here for a planned 3 nights. We loved the house with the possible exception of so many stairs. The kitchen was wonderful and fully stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The views spectacular. The happened to be the same weekend of the Hurricane!! It sounded like the house was going to blow away, but it stayed put and protected us well. Even the waves were coming over the retaining wall, but didn't reach the house. We were without power for the entire 4 nights (we had to stay an extra night because we were essentially stranded in Cannon Beach because of the storm. We built a fire, but most of the heat went up the chimney because of the 100 mph winds outside. But there were plenty of extra blankets so we bundled up and watched the flames. We had wine and cheese and crackers, so were in good shape. The water coming from the sink was delicious, so we never ran out of cold water. However, it was a bit much to shower in. We didn't ask for the storm, but when all was said and done, we had a great time and would try it again -- may be in JUNE!!

This is a great, well maintained contemporary house. It is spacious, easily accomodates three couples and is beachfront, with no obstructions. The view from inside and from the deck looking toward Haystack Rock and up and down the beach are among the best.

It was a nice place. The hot tub/ jet tub downstairs didn't work. The stereo / DVD player system should be updated. We rented a DVD to watch then realized it was a CD player we had not a DVD player. Other then that great place, close to the beach and a great view!

To celebrate my retirement, I spent 10 days in this house. It is the closest thing to a perfect spot on the beach. (The weather helped!) You are within 300 feet of the beach, close to a store and restaurants and well within walking distance to Cannon Beach. It's perfect for a family, although I had a great time staying there by myself for a couple of days before my family joined me.

We had an absolutely perfect time, as we always do in Cannon Beach. The house was just as great as we'd expected. The location was perfect, the weather was perfect, the sunsets were perfect. We would recommend this house to anyone, and we are highly impressed with Cannon Beach Vacation Rentals on a whole. We've rented from them before and have always been impressed with their professionalism and wonderful properties.

Overall a decent property and location. The house was clean. However, attention needs to be given to inoperable small appliances. Radios, BBQ, flashlights, etc. were inoperable or broken. Likewise, the furniture and pillows should be replaced. The smell from other guests lingers.
