I will return year after year! The location of the home is perfect-in the trees but 1 block from the beach and Haystack rock. The home is well kept, clean, and has everything needed. It is so comfortable with plenty of room, fireplace and wood, BBQ, bikes, and entertainment. Also a huge thank you to Cbvr who is friendly and available for all needs. The homeowner also has a great guide book in the house for restaurants, attractions, etc. The only thing to improve is the twin beds downstairs are getting a little to worn in and not so comfortable any more. Thank you for sharing your home!

Home was just as it looked on the internet. Lovely private street, spotlessly clean and very tastefully furnished. Only complaint we had was there was no blind in the T.V room which had a sleep sofa in it. One of us was going to use that room to sleep in but decided not to without a blind. We suggest you have a blind that can be pulled up from the bottom so as it doesn't interfere with the fabulous view of the trees outside but would give privacy at night. If we decided to rent Bella Vista again that is one of the things we would be looking for.
Great house/location w/ enough room to keep 3 families happy

We spent a week at Bella Vista in august 2011. My brother, wife and son, me, my wife and our two boys and my mum and dad - 9 people in total. We space the two families with kids on the top and bottom floor and put my parents in one of the rooms on the main floor. Essentially, 5 bedrooms and 3 three bathrooms.
The beach is about a block and a half away-- across the main road in cannon beach. Crossing this road with young kids in tow wasn't bad, but wasn't ideal from a safety perspective. We found this a great spot along on Cannon beach-- it was a more quiet location than the town area (which is an easy 10-15 minute walk to your right along the beach)- always room to put down a towel, have the kids play in the sand or go for a run.
My brother probably would have liked to be closer to the town, and had we stayed longer, we may have wanted to be a bit closer to the restaurants and activities, but I think we appreciated the room and quiet more for this trip.
The house is well maintained and has everything you need-- the kitchen is roomy and open concept and there is a nice deck and a bbq (that we used multiple times). We found Cbvr (the managing company) to be efficient, thorough and responsive.
My wife and I would come back in a second-- cannon beach is gorgeous (water is a bit cold year round and we had a slightly cooler air temperatures than usual for this time of year), but the vast expanse of perfect sand and haystack rocks and thousands of starfish make it very clear why this is one of the best palces in the world to visit. Highly recommend both the location and accomodation.

I will recommend Cannon Beach rentals to all my friends and family - the service and people were top notch. They were helpful every step of the process and the customer service was excellent. Thank you for helping us find an excellent place that met our needs. We are already planning on coming back next year! Thank you!

pictures on the website did not do the house justice - house was bigger, very clean and very quiet!
It had all the amenities we needed for a very enjoyable, relaxing vacation - beach was just acros the street and downtown was just walking distance.
Excellent place for a family vacation
Just one comment - the outlets in the kitchen: when toaster and microwave are used the same time, the outlet short circuits and electricity dies for the refrigerator, microwave and toaster.
Otherwise, everything else is just absolutely fabulous!
The beautiful wooded location, spacious living area, and smart decor of the Bella Vista helped make our vacation at Cannon Beach memorable and enjoyable. Also there was quick response to requests for needed household items and certain lighting functions. However, we did have a problem with the non-function lighting going down the steep steps in the front. Several people fell on a drop off we could not see at night. More updated outdoor furniture is needed--some of the pieces that were there are broken and a larger table is needed for outdoor eating. Also, it would be a good idea to provide a list of "How-Tos" including that there is a remote control to operate the fan and lights in the living area.
The owner and CBVR have corrected the the lack of towels and now there should be plenty.
High quality - meets expectation
