This home was large enough for the six adults and baby in our group to be comfortable. It's in a quiet area that's an easy walk to the beach and town. The table and chairs on the covered porch were perfect for morning coffee. Even though the forest borders on the porch, there were surprisingly few mosquitoes. The home is clean, well kept and had every amenity we needed except a baby stroller. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. My wife called the managers office after we were home and asked if they'd check the house for the brand of pillows on the beds, and they did, LOL.

Annual vacation with our grand kids

Beautifully decorated home ( not your typical worn-out kitschy stuff). New appliances and wonderful modern gas BBQ on deck. Two full baths. We put two sets of adults in the upstairs bedrooms and three grand kids in the sleeping loft. As grandparents, we took the huge main floor master bedroom with desk and laundry. Kitchen stocked with everything you need - down to seasonings and plastic wrap for left overs. A short walk from back yard to the beach. Nice stairwell on public walkway leads to beach. Full of nice touches with WiFi supply of games and movies, patio with new patio furniture and fie pit. Owners of this home have it wondefully decorated - makes you feel at home just walking in the front door. Love it!

      Wonderful!

Left on 08/04/2011 for a stay in July 2011

8 gals stayed at Ecola Retreat for a week and we had a fabulous time! The house is adorable, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It sleeps 8 with 2 on a hideabed which worked well for our group. We really enjoyed the fireplace inside and firepit out on the patio. And the location was perfect - walking distance to the beach and downtown Cannon Beach, plue close to Ecola State Park for hiking. Highway 101 is also nearby which can take you to many other fun places along the Oregon coast. Working with Cannon Beach Vacation Rentals was a pleasure and the whole experience more than met our expectations. The staff is wonderful to work with and helped us with many local recommendations for places to eat and things to do. We truly had a marvelous time at Ecola Retreat and Cannon Beach.

Beautiful, quite and well decorated home. It was very close to town and the beach. We loved the entire vacation and really enjoyed the home and neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again. The home had all the amenities and comforts to make our week long trip very enjoyable.

My favorite house on the Oregon Coast.

I love staying at this house because it's cozy, beautifully decorated and the beds are the most comfortable. I've stayed here multiple times and I always come home rested and relaxed. It's close to the trails where I always walk to Crescent Beach. The kids ride their bikes to Cannon for pizza and the bakery. We lounge by the fire in the down stuffed couch and talk and read magazines. Once you go, you will be back!

      awesome

Left on 08/16/2009 for a stay in July 2009

We stayed at the Ecola retreat for a week in July. The place was wonderful! The home had everything we needed to be at a home away from home. Decorated nicely and very comfortable. Great location. Everyone at Cannon Beach Vacation Rentals were terrific, they were very helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!
The home was quaint and comfortable with a great location. What we liked least was that we ended up spending more than we wanted to for the rental and that we couldn't stay longer!

      Cozy space

Left on 12/09/2008 for a stay in August 2008

We were in Cannon Beach for our daughter's wedding. Ecola House was very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied and whatever we needed,we found.
It was so beautifully decorated and has inside/outside capabilities. The porch was wonderful as we had a good deal of rain. Lots of friends and family stopped by to say hello and the giving of directions is challenging as the house is behind another house with which it shares a yard.
The location is so close to the north end of town and made walking to town, the beach and the park a pleasure.

      Perfect Beach Hideaway

We had my Daughters wedding in Cannon Beach and rented the home for a week after. We fit 7 adults comfortably. The kitchen comes with "Everything" you can imagine. The deck accomodated a nice barbecue and there was even a sunny patio. My relatives from Chicago and Miami loved the place. It is a hidden gem.

      Great retreat in Cannon Beach

Left on 12/03/2008 for a stay in September 2008

We rented this house for 4 adults and 2 kids - the size was perfect and had all the comforts of home. Close to central Cannon Beach made it convenient for walking. Our first morning there we awoke to 6 elk walking leisurely through the backyard.
