Salem, ORWonderful weekend
Left on 11/23/2012 for a stay in October 2012
Cannon Beach has a lot of vacation property management companies, but Cbvr takes the time to stand out. We were booked into a small bungalow, but they offered us this larger unit (West Wind) because the other half of the bungalow duplex was getting new flooring.
The West Wind unit was spacious, comfortable and had a ton of character to it. Cbvr had a bag of goodies on the table for us - coffee beans from a local company, two mugs, a $5 gift certificate to a few shops in town, and a cold-storage gorcery bag. Very nice! And, the place came with a coffee grinder!
We were in Cannon Beach for our first-year anniversary, and we had a special weekend. The unit was a short walk to the beach, and not too far from Mo's and Tolovana. We got there after hours, but the after-hours box was easy to use. The dead bolt on the West Wind door could use a little work, though - hard to turn.
Overall, we'd highly recommend Cbvr. -

vancouver bcSpring Break getaway
Left on 04/11/2011 for a stay in March 2011
We found the photos on line a little deceiving as the bedrooms appeared different in proximity of one another via internet.
The cabin was clean, minus the smell of dog. My mistake for not tuning into the "pets allowed" status on advertisement. My husband and I had to duck around corners as the ceiling were slanted and very low, but aside from that, it was full of character. I loved the location, and the quietness. The one thing I would recommend is that the owner opens up the laundry facility to the renters as they are paying a significant amount of $$/day and no access to laundry unless stated upon request. Overall good place to stay with small kids. -

Portland, ORAwkward sleeping arrangements
Left on 11/24/2010 for a stay in November 2010
We reserved this rental with the intention of vacationing with another couple, since the property is listed as having two queen bedrooms. What I was unaware of until arriving is that one of the bedrooms can only be accessed through the other.
Needless to say, this is an undesirable arrangement for non-family members. I was very disappointed that this was not communicated in the property description nor was it communicated by the rental staff.
Although the house (duplex) is in a great location, and the kitchen is nicely equipped for a rental (with the exception of not having a dishwasher), I feel ripped off that we're paying so much to sleep on a futon in the living room. -

Meridian, IdahoQuite and relaxing.
Left on 09/25/2010 for a stay in September 2010
For just the two of us, we found the cottage comfortable and clean. Although fulltime neighbors are very close they were very quite especially the tenant in the other half of the duplex - never knew she was there. The short walk to the beach was convienent as we brought along our dog. We would definitley book again. We had a great week - thanks.

I really think you should include square feet of rental in promotional material. Plus the fact that it is a duplex. If was fine for the two of us but would have been a hassle with any more occupants (our son canceled a visit because of business, but it was a relief rather than a disappointment).

Fort Worth, TXCozy Fall Getaway at the Beach
Left on 03/15/2010 for a stay in September 2009
We were pleasantly surprised with how well-equipped the cottage was. Even beach toys for my 3-year-old grandson! A quick 2-minute walk to the beach and a small front yard for our two dogs and we were set for outdoor space. I left the window in my 2nd floor bedroom open at night so I could fall asleep to the sound of the waves. We'll be back!

The folks at Cannon Beach Vacation Rentals were supper! We loved West Wind as it was close to the beach and a quaint place. Very homey and comfortable. The ceilings in the upstairs are low, so anyone of large stature might feel uncomfortable. We live in New Mexico, so wanted to experience some rain and watch the waves crash on the beach and we were not disappointed.

Left on 12/03/2008 for a stay in September 2008
Last minute reservation. Only pet friendly place we could find near the water. Over the last 40 years have stayed in at least 20 other accomodations. Adequate property but would not stay there again.

Seattle WAHad a great Thanksgiving!
Left on 12/03/2008 for a stay in November 2008
Our family was very happy at the guest house, Westwind. We made a full-on turkey dinner, the kitchen was ample in size. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms. The livingroom furniture was a little stiff for lounging around after our big feast. That was our only complaint. Oh, we would have liked to have had internet/wireless also. But overall we would return to this property, and would always do business with Cannon Beach Vacation Rentals....they are super to deal with. (Very accommodating).
