      What an amazing adventure!

Left on 05/20/2013 for a stay in May 2013

I don't think I have the words to express what a wonderful time we had at the treehouse. This place is truly amazing, unique and quirky. This was a surprise weekend away for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary and I could not think of a more wonderful place to spend it. Very peaceful location that looks out onto a wildlife park and the hot tub was a wonderful way to relax with a glass of fizz in the evening. On arrival we were overjoyed to find a beautiful welcome basket which was full of yummy local produce. It is finishing touches like this that make this place perfect. All I can say to anyone who reads this is, please visit this unique place. You wont regret it. We are already looking at dates for our next visit.

If you're looking for somewhere different to stay you've found the perfect place! The treehouse is cleverly constructed to look amazing but is also comfy and roomy. We loved everything from the welcome hamper to the jacuzzi to the big screen cinema system ... We could go on for hours
The treehouse is 2 mins walk from a pub serving fantastic food and next to a bus stop with frequent services to Whitstsble and Canterbury
Michelle and Chris gave us complete privacy but made it clear they were on hand if we needed them

      Tremendous (no pun intended)

      Amazing stay!

Left on 05/09/2013 for a stay in March 2013

The treehouse was beyond our expectations, beautifully made and decorated had a very homely feel which we didn't want to leave!
We were lucky to be graced with a week of sunshine but could enjoy the treehouse no matter what the weather!
The local pub 2 min walk away and Whitstable 5 min drive away were both lovely to go out for food and drinks but equally great was cooking in the treehouse and relaxing with the big screen projector!
The hot tub is a fantastic extra and great to relax in after a tough day by the sea!! Another cosy touch was the log burner despite it being warm was still fun to get it burning!
I have already recommended to others who have already booked up and will continue to do so as well as planning a reason for another visit!!!
Thanks to Michelle for great communication, an amazing experience to stay in!

      Absolutely perfect

Left on 05/08/2013 for a stay in May 2013

I can't put into words what a gorgeous little place this is. It was beautiful. So much attention to detail and a lovely setting. Lying in bed, you can see the trees and the bifold door makes you feel like you're outside when you're in. The bathroom is beautifully done as is just about everything. There is a great area with loungers and a chimnea bbq underneath, all enclosed and private. Not to mention the hot tub! Up top, there is decking from which you can watch the goats next door as well as some stunning sunsets.
I can't begin to describe how much I loved this place. Sheer perfection. They even left a cake, wine and banners as I mentioned it was for my partner's birthday. We are saving our pennies to come back very soon!

The treehoues is 5 star luxury accomedation and a great place to stay for visits to Cambridge and surrounding area.

On arrival there was a hamper, pint of milk, and bottle of wine, which was unexpected and a very nice touch there are also robes and slippers provided for your walk to the hottub below the treehouse.

There were also birds nesting in the roof space that you could easily hear through the air vents in the kitched which was a very nice way to wake up.

I highly recomend a stay at the treehouse.

I booked this for a surprise birthday treat for my wife. I had kept it a secret until on the way there and told here just 15-minutes away, though I told her it was a proper tree house and we were in sleeping bags. She was thrilled, so imagine her face when we turned up and were greeted by this fantastic, luxurious residence. Nothing in this property has been forgotten, with only top quality items used. We had the most amazing time and really didn't want to leave. The house aside, the care and attention to detail Chris and Michelle put in to ensuring your stay is nothing but first class, is just exceptional. We could seriously live here for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much.

We literally spent the first 15 minutes walking around the tree house gasping 'Wow's. It has a wonderful feel to the place, warm, inviting and cosy with so much character and Michelle and Chris made us feel at home with a welcome hamper and bubbles in the fridge! We loved the hot tub, a really private space with ambient lighting, the perfect place to relax and unwind. We had read the reviews beforehand so the tree house had alot to live up to - and it did, we were not disappointed, the care and thought that has gone into it makes this hideaway a perfect treat and we will definitely be back.

      Cosy and romantic!

Left on 03/06/2013 for a stay in March 2013

I have only good things to say about the Treehouse Hideaway. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel welcome. My partner and I spent a good 15 mins just looking around and saying wow when we first got in. The attention to detail is amazing, it's so quirky and cosy. One of the best things about it, especially in the colder months, is the underfloor heating. It keeps the treehouse lovely and warm. We didn't use the log burner very much, as we were happy and warm enough with the underfloor heating. The hot tub is amazing too, especially on a cold night when you can just relax. The lighting around it is very romantic also. So romantic in fact, that my boyfriend decided to propose! So we left as an engaged couple!

The surrounding area is nice. There's a pub just down the road which has a nice atmosphere, but not very much choice on the menu. We went for a walk in Blean woodlands which was lovely. We also went into Canterbury, and spent all day there, as there's so much to see and do.

All in all, just perfect, and I would recommend the treehouse to anyone. We will definitely be going back when we can afford to!

Great little place for a weekend away

Left on 02/24/2013 for a stay in February 2013

We stayed in the Treehouse and thought it was excellent. Check in was easy and Chris met us and shower us how to work a few things. The treehouse was very clean, with extra touches like wine and a hamper adding to the upmarket feel it has. Craftsmanship was amazing, the big tv was great and log fire we had going the whole time kept it warm even when snowing outside.

The nearby pub was brilliant, great food and live music by a log fire. The hot tub was boiling and a welcome place to go even though it was -1 outside!

Overall I would definitely recommend this place to couples for a special occasion or getaway. Chris was on hand on the phone when we had a question and replied straight away. Michelle was very helpful with info prior to arriving.

I almost didn't write a good review as I wouldn't want it getting too popular! Will definitely be back - a unique treat that has the wow factor.

This is a real gem of a property; a holiday hideaway with just the right balance of tree top quirk and top end luxury. Well thought through in every way, from the Flintstones path (past the hot tub...) to the curiously-at-home projector TV, there's everything here to help you get away from it all - without leaving civilisation behind. Great service and warmth of welcome, as ever. Terrific location too, with Whitstable and Canterbury just a short drive away, and a decent pub wothin easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place and accompanied by wonderful owners. I booked this Treehouse Hidaway as a suprise for my wife's birthday, Michelle kept up the secret by only contacting me. We had an amazing time. After 20mins of having the TV on the projector broke, but after one message to Chris, he was straight round with a new one and within 15 mins it was all sorted. Now thats what I call service, and the smile!!! This is a place you really should visit, as it has everything you could ever want. The hot tub is great and the whole place is just so comfortable. My wife and I have stayed in many places UK and abroad, and this is the best we have had so far. Not sure what will beat this now, but Chris's new venture that he is building soon (we hope, if Michelle doesn't stop him! hee hee) should top it! Cant wait Chris. Thank you for everything you two, and we wish you all the sucess in the future. We will definatly be returning.

Treehouse really does need to be seen to be appreciated. Even though the pictures enticed us to come and stay for a long relaxing weekend, on arrival our expectations were easily surpassed. Build quality is top notch with the feel of a 5 star hotel room but with every home touch you could think of. At the time we commented if the Ritz did Peter pan you'd probably end up with something like this.

Whitstable is obviously lovely and for a bit more bustle Canterbury was only a very short drive away.

We arrived in Blean on a cold November's evening to a warm and cosy Treehouse Hideaway. This was a surprise birthday treat from my husband and what an amazing treat it was! The Treehouse is luxurious, romantic and unique in every way. Obviously built with love and care, the owners have created a home with excellent facilities, quirkiness and imagination. The secluded hot tub was perfect for a late night dip!

The owners are dedicated to ensuring that we had the best experience possible by adding personal touches to our stay. On arrival there were all the basic necessities that we needed including milk, fresh coffee, croissants and fresh orange juice.

Whilst staying at the Treehouse, we visited both Canterbury and Whitstable which are both in close proximity to the cottage. We had dinner at the Whitstable Oyster company which was delicious.

All in all we had a fantastic weekend that we cannot fault which went far too quickly, and we will definitely recommend to our friends. We look forward to hopefully staying at the Treehouse or another property with Kent Cottage Holidays.

      Thanks for a fantastic weekend!

      Amazing

To sum our weekend up in word it was amazing! Michelle and Chris were brilliant form the second we booked. Any questions that we had they were more than happy to answer. When we arrived we were blown away at how amazing the treehouse was! It is situated in a great location, a pub 50 yards away always helps. We didnt venture out much but there is lots to do around.

The hot tub was amazing and we spent a lot of time in there, it was cold getting out but we went straight up and sat by the log burner that was also brilliant.

We had an amazing time at the treehouse hideaway and we really could not have asked for anything more!

      We will certainly be returning!

I booked an evening at the treehouse as a surprise for my girlfriends 30th birthday and had an amazing time. The owners made the booking straightforward and friendly. Upon arrival we were excited to find a very clean and exciting getaway. I would highly recommend a stay at this location to anyone who is looking for a romantic getaway. The hot tub was an added bonus which went down a treat.

We stayed in the Treehouse for a couple of nights and had the amazing relaxing time. We made full use of the Hot Tub and the cinema screen. Everything was thought of and the interior was delightful. Very quiet and peaceful and private and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

A brilliant concept and I hope it goes from strength to strengh. You can tell love and passion have gone into the Treehouse.

Well located, quirky stay with a fabulous hot tub

Left on 11/02/2012 for a stay in October 2012

We were one of the first guests to stay in the treehouse and the owners had told us that some of the landscaping wouldn't be finished by our stay. I was expecting much worse - it was hardly noticeable. The treehouse was exceptional well finished and well thought out. The kitchen area was extremely well stocked and basic stuff (tea, coffee, fruit, pool, salt pepper etc) were provided. Our only gripe was keeping the log burner going with the huge logs provided. The private hot tub is situated underneath the treehouse - really nice and relaxing, and will be even better when the landscaping is finished.

The treehouse is well situated to visit Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay and many other places and is in walking distance to part of Blean woods. We visited Sandwich on Wednesday afternoon and were shocked to find that nearly all of Sandwich was shut. I was totally surprised that anywhere still has early closing! The local pub was just round the corner and provides reasonable food. The restaurant was empty when we went and it felt a bit ... cold and echoey.

The Pearson's arms in Whistable was great and we'd highly recommend it! We had tried to get a table at Wheeler's Oyster bar but just couldn't get in.

All in all, a fab midweek break in October to blow the cobwebs away!

Wow! Fabulous experience - a beautiful property in a wonderful a

Left on 10/29/2012 for a stay in October 2012

We were lucky enough to be the first people to stay here!
Brilliant attention to detail: tree themed sinks, tree and leaf patterns on upholstery, a logburner (only needed it one afternoon and evening as the underfloor heating was so effective!). We made full use of the hot tub which is underneath the treehouse so protected from the rain. The setting is beautiful too - overlooking the animal enclosures.
Chris and Michelle were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed and that everything was just right!
On the first night, we ate in the local pub - the Royal Oak.
Very easy to get around from here. We caught the bus one day into Canterbury - right outside the property and easier than messing around with parking. The next day we caught the bus down to Whitstable. Both towns have so much to do and many wonderful restaurants. You could easily stay here without a car - public transport is quick, frequent and reasonable.

The Hot Tub area! The entrance to the Treehouse!
