This resort has everything - wonderful & helpful staff, great facilities, close beach. A real hidden gem this one. We spent hours watching the cruise liners leave Port Canaveral from our verandah, the beautiful birds in the national park next door to the resort and the wonderful sunrises and sunsets!

My wife & I stayed in a 2br ocean front condo and it was like having our own apartment at the beach! The entire property was very clean and well maintained, although slightly dated. They have brand new very firm mattresses, but if you ask housekeeping will bring a pillow top for you. Every employee we encountered was friendly, hospitable and went out of their way to help with any and every request we had. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! This is a timeshare that we traded to get into and we were interested in buying. The sales staff are very friendly and claim not to be high pressure, which they aren't, but they are very persistent. They really want to sell these timeshares and work hard to do so. We felt for the low trading power the price was too high. So unless you really want to return to Ron Jon every year, you might want to skip the sales pitch.

My best friend and I used our timeshare to book a vacation at Ron Jon Caribe and found the place to be beautiful and very relaxing. The beach is about 2 minutes walk from the condo we were staying at. The weather was beautiful despite a little rain here and there. The nachos and Dirty Monkey drink at onsite restaurant was the week's fave!! The staff was very informative and courteous including resort security... By the way directions to hotel are very easy to follow and this place is about a 15 minutes drive from Kennedy Space center, Cocoa and Cocoa Beach areas.

Our stay at Ron Jon was excellent! We found absolutely delicious oysters on the half shell at Sunset Grill and Millikens nearby. All their seafood is fresh catch. They are sister restaurants with the same owner. Try the oysters with horseradish. They do need to upgrade to a captain's wafer with the oysters rather than a saltine! The price of a dozen is $10.49.
On arrival it appears you are in an industrial area but it is actually the inlet for outgoing and incoming cruise ships. We could watch all the cruise ships leave the port from our deck! You could also see Nasa from our deck. The beach is 1/4 mile away but they have an excellent shuttle cart to drop off and pick up about every 15 minutes or so. Small children would like Ron Jons because of the activities and water park pool.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Have easily accessible parking deck. The one miserable thing about our unit was the mattress. It slept like a very cheap mattress but appeared to be clean and recently upgraded. It had a vinyl mattress cover and sounded like it when I turned over. When you turned or moved on the bed, it made a terrible noise. Definitely need to do better on that bed. But if you are up for the beach, Ron JOn has a private area, and you want to explore Nasa ( a bit pricey I thought decided not to do it). The cost was around $64 per person. I just couldn't see paying that to see whatever they had in there. It may be worth it but, that is a day trip price to Disney! -

We stayed there and was pleasantly surprised. The pool area was vast with a slide and lazy river for the kids. There main pool ranged from 3 to 5 feet deep and was large enough for a good size crowd. The hot tub was large too. We ate at the restaurant there and it was good. It was close to the beach where it was quiet. Close to Kennedy Space Center and about 35 miles from Disney World and Sea World.
The only down side was sofa sleeper's mattress was thin and the kitchen utensils were limited.
