We stayed for three weeks during the Summer of 2012, and even wow won't describe the experience. We used quite some time to crawl potential homes to rent for our family vacation, and the process of elimination enhanced our impression of this home from the quickly and courteously answered emails. We made our decision on this home months in advance, and every time one of my family member got a query I just forwarded them to Neil and Keely who promptly provided proper responses. Upon arriving at the home we were flabbergastet. Hands down - this was just superb! We had follow-up phone calls from Neil and was told to let him know if he could be of any service. We didn't want to bother and spent our vacation without any other incidents than experiencing cockroaches after two weeks. Got some cockroach traps at Walmart and went on with our vacation. I didn't want to bother Neil, but he stressed afterwards that he'd handle the issue with full force if I'd let him know. Truly reassuring to know he really cares, and my bad I didn't until we left for home. Oh yeah, and we found a few spiders inside the pool area, but found out they were harmless and removed them manually. Looking at the climate we actually expected more nuissance :)
The pool is great, the free gas for the barbeque is a great idea (we used it only a couple times but I love the freedom to). The aircondition was left at the temperature it was when we arrived and it was keeping the temp constantly. Perhaps not as much early morning, but that's just a guess. The smallest bedroom reported a intermittent aircondtion noise in the morning, like its starting, then stopping when the temperature is reached. Might have been the neighboor, but only one out of six family members noticed during our three weeks stay. He might be crazy.
We fished, watched dolphins just outside the pier.
Too long to read: We had a truly lovely stay and would be honored to come back at our earliest chance! Thank you very much Neil and Keely :)

The home we stayed in was extremely nice. We had such a great time that the only people I will talk to about rentals is Neil and Keely Hastie.

We absolutely loved Villa Serenity Star, had everything we needed. Hopefully will be back again June 2013. Beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. Laundry room had top quality washer/dryer. The pool, hot tub and dock is where we spent most of our time. Great fishing from the dock, caught a small stingray, puffer fish and many catfish, of course catch and release. Also, the morning we were leaving a group of manatees were in the canal directly across from us. Unbelievable!

I did alot of searching before I rented this house. I wanted it to be the perfect house for a much needed vacation. When I found this house online, I thought wow it has everything i'm looking for...pool..hottube..outdoor tv...flat screen w/ bose system...poole table...big kitchen...and tastefully decorated. So I booked it. Well as soon as I pulled in the driveway I knew I was not going to be disappointed. This house is very well thought out, you can tell the owners took much time to plan out the perfect floor plan and finish. This is not a thrown together rental, it is someones baby. I loved our stay there, and so did my family including our 7 month old. He had a blast in the heated pool, and scooting around the house in his walker. I'm a picking person, but there is nothing to pick about this house!

Everything was as expected and more! We enjoyed the home so much we ditched most of our sightseeing plans in order to stay "home" and enjoy the pool area. The rooms were nice sized and all was very clean.
Only negative was the neighboring barking dogs.

What a great house in the SW area of the Cape. Nice to have a pool bath so you don't have to go inside when you are all wet. The hot tub is amazing. Flat screen tv's everywhere including a 52" one in the family room with Bose Surround Sound. Contemporary upscale furnishings like granite, stainless steel and leather give the house a great sense of style. Really thought the bamboo floor in the game room was cool. House is very comfortable.
Close enough to everything else on the Cape or Ft Myers. What a great value. -

A really well appointed house, on the down side the ac in the master bedroom was hardley working. It made sleeping very uncomfortable.

We were most concerned on your comment regarding the AC as this was an entirely new, state-of-the art, system installed in Spring 2011 so virtually brand new & under warranty. We had 2 engineers from 2 different companies check out the system after receiving your feedback so to get 2 independent diagnosis reports. We are pleased to confirm the system is working normally & is performing as per the temperature panel in the home.

Do not hesitate to book this property!!! You will not be dissapointed.
From the moment we walked through the door, everything was exactly as we had anticipated and then some. The quality of the fixtures and fittings, the comforts of the bedrooms, the luxuries of the pool, spa and wine fridge!
The location is in a great, safe, quiet family area with excellent gulf access. The grounds are immaculate and the pool area with spa and outdoor TV make going out to explore the beaches, islands, shops and restaurants this area has to offer all the more difficult!
The rental agents Keely and Neil, were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, always at the end of the phone for advice, recommendations and the occasional trouble-shooting. Booking through Churchill was simple and secure and the prompt responses to emails gave us confidence in the whole process. Excellent service! We will return without a doubt and we look forward to booking through Churchill. -
