We love Palm Island and have done so for about 20 years. The prices are above average/high for our budget so we now wait for travel coupons. But the units and service are exceptional for beachfront properties making them worth the cost and/or wait.

Bought the package on living social, never heard of the resort before. So glad we discovered it! Very friendly and welcoming staff, great beach houses, amazing beach!! Cant wait to go back. So glad we discovered Palm Island Resort!Our little piece of heaven:)

My family and I had a great time at the resort. The staff were very friendly. Smooth check in and check out procedures. The view was perfect and we enjoyed our bike rides, shelling,walks on the beach. We would highly recommend to our family and friends and hope to return next year.

We love coming to PI for our family vacation. We come with several in our family and find that PI is a great place for us to spend time together. Our favorite spot is sunset beach for those gorgeous sunsets.

The resort was in good shape and our deluxe rental had everything we could ask for (including wifi). I had expectations that a gulf resort would have white sandy beaches - this did not (shells - ouch). There really isn't much to do for mid-age kids (10-13) besides the beach. The items in the stores and restaurants was horribly overpriced (hit a grocery on your way in). It was a nice getaway but I wouldn't go so far as to say "resort".

We have stayed at Palm Island several times and brought some friends for their first visit. We all had a wonderful relaxing time! Dinner at Rum Bay was delicious.

We have been coming to Palm Island for the past 15 years, as a respite from winter. It is a place where time slows down and kids are free to have fun. Even though my 2 oldest kids are teens, they still rally to return to Palm Island...even when I offer alternatives like Bahamas, Jamacia, etc. This is a little surprising because they love to travel abroad. I guess they (and I) view, PI as a special place.

it's the old agage "you get what you pay for". This my friends is worth every penny! November was my 2nd stay in 5 months, celebrating a birthday this time. With a simple phone request there was a dozen beautiful roses awaiting my lady. My hearty thanks to the Staff,our stay was perfect!

This is the second summer that my wife, our two boys and I have spent a week on Palm Island. We like the quiet, on-the-beach experience. It was a different unit than the one we stayed in last year; both were clean, well-appointed and convenient. Jet ski rental was a 15-minute ride from the ferry. If you are looking for a very quiet, totally relaxing experience, this is it.

We are repeat visitors over the past 20 years. Our only frustration was the fact that we received no information via mail or email prior to our trip i.e. current map (we used an older map and the highway numbers had changed). Front office staff was very nice but not as well organized as in the past.
