Your employees couldn't be any nicer - love them! Everything was clean, the rooms were nice, the view even better. It was such a nice escape that I don't like to complain but maybe if you could stock the rooms with a reasonable hair dryer instead of that silly wallmounted barbie fixture - that would be fantastic! And staff the pool with a grill man for a few hours during the day...that'll make the hungry people happy and put a few more bucks in your bank account! Great stay, loved it...will definitely be back and will recommend! Thank you!! Carolyn

really liked the SIZE of the units, very spacious and allowed for our party of 12 to gather and eat meals together. Didn't like how you could hear so much on 1st floor from 2nd floor walking. Enjoyed and plan to go back.

Beautifully remote but close enough to civilisation to mean the girls in the family could particpate in a touch of retail therapy, Palm Island gave us a week of relaxation, shell collecting, swimming with dolphins and manatees, and pelican, sea eagle and gull watching, mixed with tortoise and armadilo spotting.
Our condo was equppied with all of the modcons and was beautifully clean - in short, perfect. My recommendation is to rent a top floor condo like we did so as to get the best view of the beach.
The evening's entertainment was watching the astonishing sunset (from the balcony or down on the beach), or being terrified by the lightning storms.
Our only niggle was the food at the Rum Bay restaurant; the service was outstanding but not matched by the food, we felt.
But overall, an absolutley fabulous location with super friendly staff. Highly recommended. -

Disappointed we ad to pay extra fpr 6 person golf cart when we had a 3 bedroom unit. It's not worth the dissatisfaction for $15. Otherwise, we were happy with the resort. We did not use the bikes or kayaks which were in the cost of the stay. But, the room was Great! and we would return.

Our stay at Palm Island worked out to be a very relaxing family break. It was great to relax and enjoy life at a slower pace for a fe days. Our children ages 4 and 6 loved the beach, pools and the pirate show. Hopefully we will be back again next year.

We have vacationed at Palm Island Resort numerous times since the late 1980s. The villas, beach, pools, courts, and amenities have been well cared for through guests, storms, and constant sun. The island is as inviting and unspoiled as we found it on our first visit. Kudos!!

I always book 3 villas for our family of 13 Our grandkids (10,11,12,13,14) can't Wait to return each year. This was our 7th year and the resort just gets better. front office people are great and Rum Bay great as well .Wifi at coconuts And bar were popular

we came back to palm island after 17 years and it was more or less unchanged which was good. The unit was a little worn and the sheets on the main bed were rough with bobbles on which was a pity. We asked for 4 rooms for 8 adults ( 4 couples) and the 2 rooms upstairs were not private and both open to below and to each other which we had not expected- we knew one of the rooms was open to below but not the other. We did ask reception about this but they were not really interested. Overall we did not want to make a fuss and sowe managed. We had wanted to have a family holiday with 4 couples - 3 of which were our children with partners - so we tolerated this. Otherwise the place was absolutely fine although the porch screen was torn and the carpet and furnishings rather worn. As we booked for 2 weeks it would have been helpful to have been offered a linen change and a clean especially considering that this is not an inexpensive rental and there did not appear to be a discount for a longer stay.

After staying in North Captiva for a couple of times we discovered this beautiful resort. It is absolutely fantastic. If you can, choose a beach front villa and ask not to overlook the pool. It can get a little noisy.

Because of the place the island is located I would like fir the time out at least to be change to 2pm. You can not arrive before 4pm that it is ok but I will extend the time at check out. I have been comming for the las 5 years and I had recomend it to many friends in USA and south America . Best place to rest!!!

Having lived in Florida for 40 years and never heard of Palm Island, we were excited to visit. What an incredible property. Our location was great, the beach was beautiful (tons of shells - comparable to Sanibel). Can't wait to return.

Our children have grown up with Palm Island summer vacation memories. The property's spacious design lends itself to freedom for the children to have fun and not disturb quests who would rather not have children around. This gives those of us with children of all ages the ability to also relax and enjoy the serenity of Palm Island, too!

Overall, great vacation for my family. In regard's to the amenities inside the villa, recommend upgrading TVs to be larger, able to connect video games to it, and upgrade to a DVD player vs. VHS. Somewhat disappointed about the view because it wasn't on the beach. However, it didn't detract from the overall vacation. Wonderful place to go and we will be back.
