While we had a great time at Palm Island, the villa we had was showing its age. It looked like a tired 80,s decorating job with worn, cheap flooring and anchient kitchen. The sofa and chairs were of very low quality and uncomfortable....Other that that, we had a great time and will be back.

Our experience was excellent as usual. I would suggest that you give some attention to the beach access route from our location. There are snakes in the grass and the path should be wider in order that one avoids contact with the snakes.

I've been to Palm Island Resort about 10 times over the last 20 years. It's probably one of my favorite holiday destinations.
My only request is that all properties are fitted with wireless internet as well as having wifi in the pool areas. It's sometimes necessary to do work, and wifi would really help.

Everything was perfect except for Red tide. Red tide prevented me from walks on the beach, collecting shells and watching sunsets.
Hopefully Palm Island will make a one bedroom available at a special rate for a near future stay. -

My wife and I found Palm Island Resort through Expedia and Groupon and got a good deal to stay two nights. I cannot believe i didn't come across this resort before. We were pleasantly surprised and loved the location. It was so peaceful and everyone was so friendly. The bellman service was excellent and they went above and beyond to make sure the stay was nice. Kirby was very helpful and answered all the questions we had. The front desk was great and provided everything we needed. The Rum Bay Restaurant and the Johnny Leverocks Restaurant were outstanding. We found so many shells and sharks teeth on the beach and had a great time poolside as well. The villa was great and had flat screen tv's and a full kitchen. Everything was so clean and we hated to leave. We will definitely be back and will bring the family.

The Golf carts made the trip. Just be careful of bugs after dark because its very hard to see at that point. But everyone on the island was very nice and I had a great time.

I enjoyed my short stay- the environment idyllic.
The condo was comfortable but the sheets looked very old and there were no spare sets in the closet or drawers.The toilet leaked after every flush and the stopper had to be reset, that was very annoying, should be checked out before clothes detergent in the unit- I was unsure if I needed to wash the kitchen or bath towels before leaving. Lighting in this unit could be improved - either too bright fluorscent (kitchen) or too low in LR and spouse likes to use olympic pool for laps, none made available. The bicycles could be newer but I guess for the sand road conditions were adequate. Great bell captain helped us get in , Jessica and Maggie at Coconuts were very helpful as well. Thanks -

We have stayed multiple times in Palm Island, and we never grow tired of it. It is the most relaxing place to be and the staff is extremely service oriented and flexible in so many ways.
In our case, we had to ask for an extension in our check-out time because our family member got sick, and they were more than accommodating. They truly went beyond in our expectations and we will always look forward to coming back.
The island and villas are beautiful, but the service is the icing on the cake. This is truly what makes the difference for us, and will continue to refer Palm Island to friends and family. -

We have stayed off and on at Palm Island for over 20 yrs. Whoever owns the condo we stayed in needs to bring it up to speed! The furniture was falling apart and the cushions were torn. The bed was the worst we have ever stayed in. It was good to see Walt M. again; the restaurant was super, as always. Sorry to be so negative; we really do love the place and we're only an hr. from home. Different condo owners DO make a difference.

We found our stay, & the one last year, to be a very pleasant experience. Beautiful location,quiet, pleasant. The only negative feedback was the condition of the villa. Last year ('06) we had an exceptional villa. This past year was not as nice (location, & overall condition). The villas AC was not working properly, we found the bedroom did not cool properly & the bed itself was not comfortable. The previous year, the villa that we had was perfect. Location -view, and overall condition, made for an excellent vacation.
