Sugar Plum Cottage is an 1880 s Victorian which has been totally upgraded with new kitchens and bathrooms, central heat and air conditioning and located just a half block to the beach and Washington Street Mall. Even though the property is located in the center of town and close to everything, the Sugar Plum Cottage allows you to enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting for a relaxing vacation.
Off season rentals minimum 2 nights @ $1250, additional nights $500.

This is the third year I think that our three families have rented Sugar Plum Cottage for the New Year's Eve/Day holiday and we have never been disappointed. Our children are now grown - except for one adolescent who brought her friend with her this year -- so it was more of an adult vacation. We wandered around Cape May, went out for dinner one evening, and cooked and celebrated New Year's Eve at the cottage. Most of all, we relaxed together, talked, caught up, played mahjongg, and noshed. The house was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, the location is great - just 2 blocks from the boardwalk and beach, but just two blocks from shopping. At this time of year, it's also nice and quiet.

Sugar Plum Cottage is a lovely Victorian home right in the heart of Cape May, but on a quiet street. Only half a block to the beach, and a block to the shopping area, we parked our car and walked everywhere. The house was very clean and comfortable and modern inside. The best part was the lovely front porch with rocking chairs, where you can sit and watch the horse-drawn carriages ride by.
