This historic gem is the most photographed home in Cape May. Built in 1869 by a wealthy Pennsylvania coal baron, John McCreary, its architecture is a mix of Victorian elegance meeting Gothic Revival. Architect Stephen Button designed this beautiful Gothic villa to feature a 60' tower with an unbelievable 360 degree view of the Atlantic Ocean and Cape May. He also designed her with stenciled and ruby glass arched windows. We stayed here for a group get-together of about 40 people to celebrate our wedding. The house was just perfect this type of event--the rooms are gorgeous and unique, there is a lot of communal space indoors and outdoors in porch/yard for people to hang out together and there is a huge kitchen for preparing/storing food and drinks.The owner of the house is extremely nice and responsive--she answered all of our questions right away and showed us the house twice before we rented it so that we could plan for our event. I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you!

We loved the house, it was everything that we hoped it would be. The rental process was organized and easy. We enjoyed exploring the house as much as the rest of the activities that were part of our girl's weekend!
