CLOSE TO THE BEACH, "The Ship s Landing" was built in 1878 (the original structural beams came from an old ship. This historic 5 bedroom, 3 bath home is located just 2 short block to the beach. Features include cozy parlor with pocket doors, large dining room, large eat-in kitchen,central air conditioning, front and back staircases plus a family room. Outdoor features include a large wrap-around porch to enjoy the ocean breezes, two outdoor showers and lots of off-street parking. This lovely Cape May cottage sleeps up to 16 people, the perfect place for family and friends to gather and enjoy a vacation at the beach.

This is a beautiful, large home in Cape May. We rented this home when our son was married in Cape May. It is 2 doors down from the alcott Hotel (this is the place to stay for a large family or group having an event at the alcott). The wrap around porch was great for sitting and having a few drinks; imagine it is even better in the summer). The dining and formal living rooms are beautiful for taking the "Groom pictures". It was ideal for my family (married daughter with children), single son with 2 friends, groom until the wedding and my family from California and Chicago. Plenty of room to sleep and entertain. The owners were wonderful - we were there Superstorm Sandy week-end - one of the last weddings in Cape May prior to evacuation. Both the Realty and owner were wonderful with communication: not only for our safety, but with following up afterward! We plan to return and stay there when there are other family events! We are so glad Cape May was spared major damage!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, large, spacious and gracious home.Its ideally located near everything!!! It has all the amenities and then some. The large kitchen and dinning room are perfect for a large group as well as the large tables in both. The bedrooms allow privacy for all,the third floor is very private and perfect for kids to have their own space.The porch is great for relaxing on this lovely street and parking is plentiful. My only complaint is that we stood for only one week, it went by so fast, two weeks would have been perfect!!!

The house was great and the location was great. The check in was bad service. Went to Jersey Cape at 1;15 and we had to come back for our keys at 2;00. No one had rented the house the week before us so no reason we could not have the keys 45 min. early. Bad customer service.

Thank you for your response. Our check in policy at Jersey Cape Realty is 2PM. Being a company that represents over 200 summer and year round rentals it's rather difficult to make exceptions for early check-ins as the various cleaning companies in town are providing change over services between 10AM and 2PM on Saturdays which is our major check in day. This is stated very clearly in our lease agreements and welcome letters to tenants. However and with prior notice we are more than willing in the case of hardships to notify an owner and ask permission for an earlier check in for a tenant.
