Sunshine CoastA wonderful experience, highly recommended!
Left on 02/21/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Upon entering this delightful property, we were pleasantly surprised by the stylish decor, generous facilities and absolutely awesome views. Extremely comfortable, with the peace and quiet we were seeking. A short drive to township conveniences and rugged coastal landscapes. The DVD player and TV were a little temperamental, but this paled to insignificance in light of everything else on offer - not least the proximity to golf heaven, horse riding, beach walks and groovy cafe scenes. Very pleased with this great southern accommodation. Looking forward to staying here again.

MelbourneBetter to stay in the ocean view rooms at Racv resort
Left on 11/20/2012 for a stay in November 2012
We wanted to stay at the Racv resort but couldn't get accommodation for the dates we required so decided to rent this villa through Golfs retreat. It was a bad decision, the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The rooms were dusty and smelt like they hadn't been aired out for a while. The only saving grace was the wood fireplace. We didn't read the terms and conditions and didn't realise we had to take the rubbish out and was charged an additional $160 bond. Next time I'm getting in early and booking an ocean view villa at the Racv

MelbourneWeekend in Cape Schanck
Left on 08/14/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Banksia 2 at Cape Schank is a lovely place to spend the weekend. It is nestled amongst tea tree and banksia scrub, and the large windows and balcony present a sweeping view out over the ocean and tree tops. The slow combustion fire gives plenty of warmpth and was thoughtfully set, ready to light. Whilst the bathroom and kitchen are not modern, the decor and furniture is funky and welcoming and makes the place feel fabulous. The small details of having salt, pepper, oil, herbs etc makes all the difference so you don't have to pack your whole pantry for a weekend away. It was spotlessly clean - very important! A great place and we will certainly stay here again.
Small note for improvement - instructions on how. To use the microwave and oven would be great. Also better directions as to how to locate the apartment, very difficult to find in the dark.Response from Retreats Victoria - 08/14/2012

Rowvillevery pleasant
Left on 10/20/2011 for a stay in March 2011
place was clean and tidy
all the facilities worked
overall very happy with the place.
the only negative thing was it was hard to find, even when we went to the reception they didnt know where the place was. so maybe a sign on the road and clearer directions to locate the premises would be better.Response from Retreats Victoria - 10/21/2011

Thank you for your comments. The existing sign can be difficult to see as you enter the resort. Unfortunately it is not in my power to change this! We will try to give our guests better instructions in the future. - Retreats Victoria

Ocean GroveVery relaxing and comfortable
Left on 10/20/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Would highly recommend this place! Was perfect for sitting back and watching the view or relaxing by the fire. Rooms downstairs were very spacious and clean and a great deck to have a BBQ on. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great weekend away.
