The Cottage Chardonnay is located in the heart of the Cape's most famous and beautiful suburbs, amongst the leafy vines of the oldest wine lands in the Cape. It is in close proximity to many of the celebrated Cape restaurants. It is also a minute or two away from the chic Constantia Village Shopping Centre with its wide variety of fashionable shops and restaurants.

It offers furnished self-catering accommodation for up to four people (max. three adults or two adults plus two kids), make yourself at home in this comfortable chalet fully equipped to make your stay an enjoyable one. It boasts 1 room open plan design with bedroom, bathroom,... fully fitted kitchenette, scullery and lounge/dining room with satellite TV. It leads to a private patio with delightful small garden and the apartment boasts a heated pool, shared by all guests. It also has an outside dining area with BBQ and outdoor seating for four.

This wonderful holiday accommodation is in a peaceful neighborhood and you can rest assured because it has an alarm system, intercom and garage.

We are situated in Constantia, which is a wonderful green suburb of Cape Town in the oldest wine region of South Africa, Constantia Valley. This suburb, close to Table Mountain, has got an excellent infrastructure with all amenities as well as a beautiful landscape with hiking trails: We are close to shopping facilities (e.g. Constantia Village), Steenberg Golf Course, the Famous Cape Wine Routes and have got excellent restaurants "around the corner". The beaches which offer lot of water sport as well as Downtown Cape Town with all its attractions, such as the Waterfront, museums and theatres, Cape Malay Quarter, Parliament, Companies Garden, the Cable Way, Markets you can reach in 15 to 20 minutes, and the list goes on.

Confirmation of Booking

Bookings will be officially confirmed once a deposit of 50% of the whole amount has been paid. All bookings need to be done this way. This is not refundable unless that booking period can be rebooked with other people. In such a case a 10% administration fee would be charged and subtracted.

The remaining 50% MUST be paid into the Landlord’s account latest two weeks before arrival, after which all renters details will be made available.

In the case of the booking being cancelled during the rental period or with a no show then the following rules apply

Cancellation until 10 days before arrival
= 100% of the amount of the rental

Cancellation until 11 – 30 days before arrival
= 50% of the amount of the rental

Cancellation 31 – 60 days before arrival
= 35% of the amount of the rental

Earlier than 61 days before arrival
= 25% of the amount of the rental

Should we be able to rent out the units to other guests then the deposit will be prorated and returned (deduction of 10% as administration fee).

Discounts and Surcharges:
The prices shown are valid for a stay of minimum 7 days.
Discounts apply for longer stays from days 14, 28, 56 and 90 on and more.
Surcharges apply for shorter stays up to 6 and 1 days. Please ask for the rates.

Additional person over standard:
KIDS (up to 16 years the age): Toddler up to 2 years of age sleeping in a cot we charge nothing, kids as 3th or 4th person we charge 50% of the flat fee for an adult person.

Payments: Electronic Bank Transfers or Cash accepted only.

Bookings can be finally confirmed, when 50% of the full accommodation fee has been received. Both 50% of the full accommodation fee and the deposit to be paid into our bank account immediately after reservation. Banking details will be provided at reservation. The balance is to be paid 10 days prior arrival latest.
