505 Doric is in the hub of Green Point . Our clients have been delighted with the position as it is a short walk to the V&A; Waterfront, the Green Point Stadium, the Metropolitan Golf Course, the Cape Quarter and public transport.
The apartment is modern, light and airy although the building is a 1960's style. It is spacious, 56sqm, with an open plan living area comprising lounge and modern kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare gourmet or stay at home meals and includes dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and fridge.

The apartment is in the hub of Green Point where the local people live and close to many tourist attractions. Situated on the corner of York and Main Roads, it faces a tree lined street, a short walk from the V&A; Waterfront, The Cape Quarter and the Metropolitan Golf Course. Ideally situated for events at the Cape Town Stadium eg. The Agrus Cycle Tour, various concerts and games or for a relaxing holiday. There is parking on the property and it is close to public transport and metered taxis.

The apartment looks as per the pictures on the web . Close to everything, restaurants, beach, V&A; Waterfront . Anne has thought of everything for her guests , books to read , shopping bags . The magazines were a bit old though

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement idéalement situé. Anne nous a accueilli chaleureusement et se montre toujours très disponible. Le logement est très bien équipé, "comme à la maison" ! La vue sur le stadiuum et l'océan est un plus. Proximité immédiate avec restaurants, la promenade de Sea Point et le Waterfront.

My husband and I stayed at this amazing apartment from 16 December to 21 December 2012. The place is well equipped, clean and the location is a cherry on top. I would definitely stay at this apartment for my next CPT trip.

Well situated, pleasantly furnished and charming. The shower does not have an extractor fan. It was well equipped. Close to great shops, easy to buy food etc.

We found the warmth and charm of Doric endearing. It was a place that we looked forward to returning to at the end of a fun-filled day. It's centrality and security was an added bonus.

Great place; there is nothing the owner hasn't thought off! Secure. Lots of parking space. And an excellent supermarket closeby. Superb location also, with a view of the ocean, 5 minutes from V&A; Waterfront and close to all CT must-see places. We travel to CT quite regularly and my husband has decided he doesn't want to stay anywhere else anymore. Except maybe in one of the other Private Places! :-)

What an amazing experience we had! I hadn't been home to South africa in 4 years and when we arrived at the Doric apartments, it felt like I had never been away. The lady who arranged everything for us, Anne, really made us feel so at home and was extremely helpful. The apartment itself was stunning. The location is super...literally a hop, skip and a jump to so many tourist attractions. Be it just for a weekend or a longer stay in Cape Town, I would highly recommend staying at the Doric apartments. I know for a fact that next time I am home, I most definately will stay there again. Thank you so much anne for everything and looking forward to seeing you again, hopefully some time soon.

My husband and I was amazed. The place was exactly as the pic on the web site. We had every gadget to cook, clean etc. We spent a lot of time in the apartment because of the weather and enjoyed every moment. The apartment is also situated centrally with secure parking. Definitely going back.

Loved it, in fact I have noted a few ideas and tips for my future flat! The flat was very comfortably furnished, while still being very stylish and modern. One could just sit on the couch and enjoy the sea breeze and already enjoy the holiday. Big windows and a sliding door makes for a very open and light setting. Having views from the bedroom and living room. The views are stunning, and one can see the sea, the new Cape Town stadium and Signal Hill. Another plus for any summer stay in Cape Town, is evident when one considers the wind factor. For most of summer the south easter blows in Cape Town, and sometimes very very strong. At the apartment we were able to have the windows and sliding door open, even at gale force winds, which normally can blow your paintings or flower pots of their places, as the flat faces the opposite direction of the South East Wind. Parking was also easy and safe. Walking distance to Waterfront and even the city centre. (along the world cup fan walk). All and all a lovely stay and worth every cent.
