This is a spacious ONE BEDROOM SELF CATERING SUITE which sleeps 2 adults. With a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with separate shower unit it has a FOUR STAR Grading by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA). The FOUR STAR Grading by the TGCSA was reconfirmed recently against the new higher criteria that self-catering establishments such as Highcliffe House in South Africa now have to meet in order to ensure that visitors can be confident in the knowledge of what we claim we actually deliver.

Highcliffe House is situated high on the mountainside in a very quiet part of Gordon's Bay and is close to the three main beaches in the area including the "Blue Flag" Bikini Beach.
There are magnificent views across False Bay to the Cape Peninsula as well as of the surrounding Helderberg and Hottentots Holland Mountains and the Gordon's Bay sunsets are magnificent.
While retaining a village atmosphere there are plenty of shops in close proximity including a supermarket and a major shopping mall. The nearest hospital is 10 minutes away. Access to Cape Town - 45 minutes away, and the International Airport - 30 minutes away, is directly along the N2, access to which is less than 5 minutes from Gordon's Bay.
Gordon's Bay is the real gateway to all of the attractions, and is very close to the Stellenbosch and Helderberg Wine Routes and 5 championship golf courses, plus all of the other places of interest that the Western Cape has to offer and no big city hustle and bustle!
A car is recommended and we provide secure and off-the-road parking.

What an amazing 3days spent at this stunning home. A real home away from home. The breathtaking views and the most peaceful surroundings was just what we looking for. Jane & Jim made us feel so comfortable we could have stayed longer. They really are the perfect host. It's definetly a place we will return to.

This is one of the cleanest well looked after places I have stayed. Breathtaking views. Awesome comforts.
This is a place you would expect to go if you were wanting something nice. Jane and Jim are lovely people who will certainly take care of you. I would of gladly paid more for this place. I also would like to recommend this place to anyone who is reading this.

Jane and Jim are great hosts who have thought of everything when setting up these apartments for holiday let. All very comfortable with great views over False Bay from above. So good we are returning next year!

Highcliffe House was the ultimate in hospitality with hosts that took care of every need even as far as planning trips round and about Cape Town. The Merlot suite provided magnificent views and is decorated delightfully. Every comfort is anticipated from the beautiful linen to the kitchen equipped thoughtfully with everything one could need. A thoroughly wonderful stay with welcoming and accommodating hosts. We look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful place to stay, marvellous views, beautiful house. Jane and Jim were most helpful and friendly to us during our stay and nothing was too much trouble to them. This was our second visit and we definitely hope to return.

We have stayed twice at Highcliffe House once in the Pinotage suite and once in the Merlot Suuite, both were fantastic with every facility you could ask for. The pool area is a delight and the pool lovely and warm. Jane & Jim make you feel most welcome and we cannot fault their attention to details. Gordon's Bay is a lovely place for a holiday or a brief stay.
