Near the old village of Muizenberg Spindrift Apartments , have been imaginatively and very comfortably refurbished in the Moorish style . They are spacious , airy and quiet with sea and mountain views , two minutes from the 30 miles of white sands of Muizenberg beach , on the other side is a fynbos nature reserve .
The apartment comprises of three bedrooms, a sittingroom with TV etc, a large eat in kitchen and a private garden. One bedroom has a Kingsize bed and the other has a Queen both have shower bathrooms. Spindrift sits on top of a sand dune between Muizenberg village and Sunrise beach facing False Bay , which is the Indian Oceon . We are two minutes from the 30 miles of white sands which is Muizenberg beach , surrounded by fynbos and mountains . Close by are 4 golf courses , the working harbour and village of Kalk Bay , Cape Point , the stunning beach drive of Baden Powell to the wine districts and 2 direct routes int Cape Town. It is quiet and tranquille .

I stayed at Spindrift apartments for a week in December 2012. My bedroom was clean, well furnished, with a firm, comfortable mattress and an en suite power shower with plenty of hot water. I cooked a number of meals in the kitchen, which was well equipped and a good size; we all ate around the table in the evenings, which became a feature of our holiday. The lounge is relaxing and nicely furnished, with good sofas and armchairs and tastefully decorated.
Zoe is a nice person and is very easy to deal with. She let me stay for an extra half day at no extra charge and organised a taxi for me to get to the airport. You can't say fairer than that!
I can highly recommend Spindrift as a high quality apartment with a generous host. -

I have stayed on two occasions at Spindrift apartments, both for prolonged periods. Simply put there is no alternative in Muizenburg, or Cape Town. The style of the self-catering flats is impeccable – a mixture of beautiful North african designs, large arched doorways, beautifully fitted, combined with a comfort that we normally associate with South africa. The astonishingly beautiful design never compromises the comfort and sheer convenience of the accommodation: super king-size beds, spacious, elegant rooms, well-fitted and luxury bathrooms and ample kitchen space – especially in the larger flat. Convenient off-street parking, with secure gates and locks that does not detract from the sense of the freedom and openness of the accommodation. The price is also highly reasonable. Having sampled Zoe’s hospitality and the clean, stylish comfort of the Spindrift apartments I would never stay anywhere else on my frequent visits to Cape Town.

We stayed at Spindrift just after new year after the Sinfonia cruise. The place is big, clean and each room is decorated differently. We stayed as a family of 6 and it was perfect! No breakage deposit was asked for as well which is rare for most self catering units.
The only thing was there is limited parking, cars need to be moved if the land lady needs to go out. Otherwise all was great! Would definitely recommend this place. -

Lovely, comfortable & quiet

For a much needed 2 day break in Cape Town, we decided on the recently renovated Spindrift apartments in Muizenberg. We were met by Zoë, who is a total delight...no nonsense and straightforward. Our bedroom was well appointed and the beds very comfortable...a huge plus when traveling. Crisp white linen & beautiful interior completed the look. Zoë's artistic flair is evident throughout. The bathrooms were fresh and clean...my wife is a stickler for clean spaces. We did not want for anything in the kitchen and a starter pack of fresh milk, real coffee, rusks & bread got us off to a good start. The bookcases were filled with a wide selection of books and magazines. We didn't spend time watching TV, but the big flatscreen would be a huge plus for those that feel the need to catch up on news or the latest movies. A small, friendly garden finished the look perfectly. There are many good restaurants in the area & you don't have to go far to find a good breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you choose to make your own, you'll find what you need at shops nearby. A very enjoyable stay.

I've just returned from Cape Town, South africa, without a doubt one of the most beautiful cities in the world, having been fortunate to spend three weeks at Spindrift. I was able to relax in the perfect location in the seaside town of Muizenberg. Spindrift was sublime! Plenty of room and the most wonderful sea views and including the back of Table Mountain. The accommodations were attractive, clean, well appointed, wonderful beds and sheets, peaceful and just a short walk to the beach!
