Left on 04/30/2013 for a stay in April 2013
It took me about 5 goes to book the apartment I wanted (504). They kept asking me to send my credit card details through via email (which I refuse to do for security reasons) and then told me to call them through. I tried 5 times (after I tried to fax through 4 times and their fax wasn't working) and each time I couldn't raise anyone. I honestly can say that I was beginning to think that these guys were not legitimate. So I tried again and found a very easy way on their website. Why on earth they didn't send me a link to the website booking form is beyond me. We had stayed 9 nights and then requested to extend a night. I got a very straight response "sorry we have guests coming in tomorrow so you will have to be out at 10:00). I found this very rude given they manage a number of properties in the complex and we had already stayed 9 days. Why could they not have offered an alternative? Tried to help me find something at least.
The leather couch was falling to pieces. Each time we got up bits were attached to us and were all over the floor. It should be immediately replaced. The toilet was not clean (someone has used it days earlier and not flushed it. Disgusting) and the shower drain did not work so you were standing ankle deep in dirty water. All in all very disappointing. We have been to Cape Town from australia twice in the past 6 months and will not be using these people every again and making sure everyone that we know knows how bad they are -
