Cape Town Waterfront; The residential section is separate from the shopping areas, it is very quiet and secure; the entrances are gated and the entire perimeter is fenced, so only residents with IDs can enter. There are guards at the gates and in patrol 24/7, there are CCTV cameras everywhere and security is as good as one can imagine. There is a gym which accepts temporary membership for our guests and there are 3 swimming pools, one of which is heated and access to these is free of charge for our guests.

Fantastically located in a secure development with lots of things to do nearby including restaurants, bars, shopping and oodles of tourist attractions. The property is bright and spacious and has everything you need for a really enjoyable stay. The cleaners come regularly to ensure the apartment is kept in pristine condition. It has a large balcony with lovely views of the river and of the waterfront. Fully equipped kitchen and relaxing sitting/dining area. Plenty of space and lovely and bright. First class service, we go back every year because we know we will have an excellent holiday. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Capetown.

Not for the first time we decided to take advantage of the Cape Town climate in January & February. A self contained 1 bedroom apartment on the Waterfront was ideal. This was fully equipped with full cooker, microwave, dishwasher, tumble dryer, fridge & freezer. The large living area had 2 comfortable leather sofas and widescreen cable tv. The large shaded balcony was ideal for eating al fresco breakfast lunch and supper. Bedroom with en suite was very comfortable and also opened directly onto the balcony. We had maid service twice weekly. The position was in a secure compound with underground parking. A short 10 minute walk and you are in the heart of the world famous V & A Waterfront. You could also walk to the centre of Cape Town in 20 minutes. A car is essential as there are many great places to visit within a 2 hour radius. Overall our 2 month stay was excellent and we will repeat this experience another year.

During our last visit to Cape Town we choose to stay at the Gulmarn Building on the Waterfront Marina as opposed to a nearby hotel which we have done in the past. This was possibly the best decision we could have made regarding our visit.
The location of this complex is amazing, easy access to the Waterfront, city and all tour operators/taxis will pickup and drop off if needed. Safety was never an issue, the complex has 24hr maned entry points, so you can go for a beautiful walk around the canal or the waterfront anytime day or night. Check-in was so simple and communication while booking and during the stay was second to none.
The apartment had so much room to move unlike a cramped little hotel room. The benefit of a full kitchen, was also a real time and money saver.
We highly recommend this complex and will use again on our return.

We found that our visit to Cape Town was made stress free by the professional and slick handling of our accommodation requirements by the owner and the representative who met us at the Waterfront Marina at the appointed time. We could have arranged to be met at the airport but decided otherwise. The representative took us through the security proceedures before escorting us to the apartment where every detail on the Lease agreement, the security and emergency proceedures, the equipment handling and finally how to make the most of our stay in Cape Town was explained to us. The appartment was on the third floor of the block and from the large balcony we had an excellent view over the canal which runs through the complex. We enjoyed watching the fish shoals, the cormoants and the canal boats as well as the view of the well kept and well stocked garden borders whilst having our breakfast each morning, very peaceful and relaxing. The apartment is well appointed, spotlessly clean and is very comfortable, we found that during our stay in December that the sun on the balcony was limited which suited us but may not suit everyone. The cleaner arrived at the appointed times, was very thorough and unobtrusive whilst there. We found that the freedom of staying in a self catering apartment allows us greater freedom and is much less restrictive than hotel living. The Waterfront complex is very secure and we have no hesitation in recommending this apartment so that you can relax and enjoy a whole stress free visit to Cape Town. Go on spoil yourself.

My daughter and have stayed here twice when visiting Cape Town and it has been perfect. It is walking distance to a variety of restaurants and shops at the Waterfront and the complex has security so that we always felt safe. The unit is clean and comfortable with a washer and dryer as well as a kitchen where we made breakfast or reheated leftovers. I feel it was much better than staying in a hotel, as we had more space and amenities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The complex was very quiet and secure. Although there was a five to ten minutes' walk to the waterfront, we felt very secure even at night.
Francoise, the lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful and accessible.
The oven was a bit complex to use and everything else worked fine. -

Loved our stay in the beautiful Cape Town. Looking forward to returning again some day. Would highly recommend the service from arthur and Francoise and their lovely apartment in the waterfront. Had an amazing time! Actually recommended to us and we would definitely recommend to others. We did actually! Other friends were staying elsewhere and were not happy with their accommodation so they called us and moved on over. Walking distance to everything Cape Town has to offer.

We visit Cape Town every 2 years as I grew up here.
We have stayed at the Waterfront many times. The apartment was well situated, convenient and safe to walk around the Waterfront with all of its activities also at night. Easy access to the freeways and major roads to travel the rest of the Peninsula. Idealy situated for the city center. The apartment has everything everything one needs and all in a good condition. The service was very friendly and helpfull. A good place to stay. -

The location was amaizing... I can still picture the view the we had immediately outside the apartment. I liked walking on bridges just above the water. I enjoyed seing the boads in the water while I was lazying around at the apartment.

This one bedroom apartment has everything. The location is really fantastic, walking distance to many shops and restaurants and also not too far from the city centre.Perfect for relaxing on the balcony. The amenities are fantastic. We are a 29 year old couple from London.
This was our first trip to South africa and as a slightly nervious traveller when it come to new places, i was a little worried about the safety in Cape Town, so opted to stay in the waterfront where security was a top priority for our stay.
I have to say, i always stay in Holiday Rentals - and this is by far the nicest one i have ever stayed in.
The location is 3 minutes from the shops / bars / The One and Only. Its right near everything but still quiet at night.
The premises is very sucure and i can honestly say i have no idea what i was worried about. I felt 100% safe 24/7 and cape town is beautiful! the apartment was clean, cosy, quiet and had such beautiful views. the car pack was steps away from our apartment and also very secure.
I would deffinately suggest staying in the waterfront to any of my friends. (some visited us whilst they were passing through CPT and when we invited them round - they just said 'wow'.
i cannot wait to go back one day and i will be staying at the waterfront again.
Great holiday... starting with a proposal up table mountain from my then boyfriend, so it holds a special memory for me!
You will not be dissapointed!!! -

We stayed in a 1.5 bedroom apartment which was spacious enough for 2 adults and a teenager. The complex is very secure and only a 5 minute walk from all the great restaurants and activities at the V&A; Waterfront. The apartment was clean and the bedding configuration was as requested. The apartment has a very large private terrace overlooking the canel. We were met on time by a representative for check-in and check-out, no hassles. The only irration was the line static when using the apartment phone.

My wife and I are regular visitors to CapeTown. We have stayed twice at the Julian and once at the Gulman one bed roomed apartments.They are superbly situated only 10 minutes steady walk to the centre of famous Cape Town Waterfront. The apartments are clean and well equipped. For anyone who might be a little concerned about safety then again this is ideal. The security of the apartments and the access area is very strongly enforced. You can walk to the Waterfront and remain in the secure area.

We stayed at the V&A; Waterfront Marina and thoroughly enjoyed our experience, the apartment was clean, modern, fresh and large, we loved our balcony and the beautiful views of the water, and we loved the high security, never had to worry about a thing. The location is wonderful a lovely walk to the popular V&A; Shopping Market and a nice walk into the city also. The apartment had everything we needed, although we planned on cooking in our georgous kitchen we never did as cheap and cheerful restaurants close by. We have stayed twice now, both times we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend and have already done so to our friends from australia visiting Capetown!

We stayed for about a week in this fantastic apartment on a holiday from australia. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and the living and dining space is enourmous and beautifully decosrated. A lovely view of the canal from the deck and bedroom and the apartment is just a short walk to waterfront shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again if we had the opportunity.

Travelling to Cape Town alone as a female I was feeling rather apprehensive, but my fear was unfounded.
I was met at the airport by a driver they had arranged and was taken to the apartment and checked in by a lovely young lady who made the whole thing informal but efficient. The apartment was very comfortable and clean with all the amenities and its location and security were excellent which I believe could not be bettered. -

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. With a very spacious living room and a very nice balcony with a wonderful view of the canal, with the villas in the middle, and the surrounding apartments. Both the Waterfront shopping mall and the aquarium were within a short walking distance and so was the bus stop with frequent buses to the main touristic atractions in Cape Town.

very well positioned for the centre of town or Waterfront and only a relatively short drive round to Camps Bay. very safe and secure the Marina has a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
weaknesses are the internet everywhere is poor and the pool areas aren't great but then you don't visit Cape Town to sit by a pool! -

Last December I stayed with my father here for his first time to Cape Town, and it was a perfect location for him to walk and explore the waterfront, and for us to jump on the free-way for sightseeing. The 1.5 bedrooms are comfortable, though the 1/2 bedroom is small. The master bedroom is perfect and the kitchen had everything we need. The deck is spacious and perfect for dining outside and jumping downstairs to walk the boardwalk. The staff made this so easy we are staying here again this coming December in a larger apartment.

This is the first time we decided to go to a self catering apartment and we were pleasantly surprised how smoothly everything went. We were welcomed by the owner who went through all the amenities and gave us a guided tour of the location. The location was fabulous, beautiful setting and most importantly it was very secure. The apartment was lovely, however, we expected to be provided with basic necessities e.g tea/coffee, some bread, fruit especially as arriving in the middle of the night it would be great to have a refreshment.Toilet roll was not provided either. We recommend that this information should be provided. Apart from that we had a lovely stay.

I have stayed in these apartments twice when I did not want to stay in mine or any of the hotels, hence keeping a low level withdrawal from he crowd. The rooms are much bigger than deluxe rooms at the nearby 5star hotels at the V&A; and can only be compared to the King Suites. The catering option is superb although I rarely use them except for my coffee, however access to Rueben's at the One and Only is unbeatable with other top class restaurants at the V&A; Waterfront, just 5 minutes away. I call this accommodation 4 star value at 2 star price

Excellent service from the time we made the booking to the day we left our unit. The facilities were outstanding and the location stunning on the waterfront. The position of the home allowed us to be close to the many restaurants and we could organise our own tours at our leisure. We were provided with information on all aspects of the tours available and could avail ourselves of these easily. We loved the waterfront position of the home best as we could freely walk to and from the waterfront at any time.

The apartments are very nice, very quiet and well kept. The managing is OK, the spot is always very clean and the security perfect. The only problem for us was that some of the apartments don't have a real door in the bathroom that is very strange for our habit.

We were met by the owner of our apartment and were shown through. We enjoyed this encounter. We were impressed by the location within the V and a complex and felt very comfortable with the security. The location is ideal for the short stay tourist. We were there for a week.
The apartment was very modern and clean. It was by far superior to a hotel room. We would book here again. -

The apartment was excellent, clean well appointed and had all we needed to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The pools at the waterfront are lovely and very clean and well kept, as is all the waterfront.
