Pepper Tree House is nestled in the trees, high on the slopes of Lion’s Head, in a quite cull de sac, with spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean and seaboard. The airy, spacious bedroom and en-suite bathroom, on the top floor, has wooden folding doors leading to a shuttered balcony with views of Robben Island and Table Bay. The downstairs living area opens onto a large, sunny patio where you can lounge in the dappled shade of a Pepper Tree. Pepper Tree House is on the slopes of Lion’s Head, in a garden setting with spectacular views of Robben Island and Table Bay.
It is a few minutes to drive to Camps Bay and Clifton, Cape Town’s top Blue Flag beaches. Walking routes on the slopes of Lion’s Head and Table Mountain are easily accessible. A variety of excellent restaurants and shops, including the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront are in close proximity.
The wine regions of Stellenbosch and surrounds is an hour by car.

We simply loved Pepper Tree house with our very own private accommodation set high on the slopes of Lions Head. From our huge terrace in full sun or dappled shade we could see for miles- to the left and just around the corner the glorious beaches of Clifton to the right Sea Point looking like a mini-Manhattan at night and the fabulous Waterfrot beyond. I'm front the deep blue S atlantic stretched to the horizon. The house - two floors of sheer luxury and very secure indeed with behind gate parking. Hard to better. We have already got our slot for next time.

My wife and I recently visited South africa to attend a wedding in Mossel Bay. Prior to the ceremony we needed to stay in Cape Townfor a couple of nights.
We were looking for a self contained apartment with easy access to everything, beach, city, mountain etc.
Whilst browsing i fortunately came across an address in Fresnaye which although had no previous reviews seemed to fit the bill.
We were not disappointed . Karien, the lady of the house , has created a self contained two storey apartment within the grounds of her beautiful home which really has the Wow factor.
After parking the hire car on the secure gated driveway we were shown our accommodation .
The ground floor is one big lounge with sliding doors that open onto a private sun terrace with a view to die for! We were looking out to sea towards Robin Island just above Sea Point. Fantastic!
Inside ,the suite had everything. Comfortable seating,huge TV and a fold away kitchen with fridge, sink microwave etc. Karien had even stocked it with food.
Up the marble staircase we found a beautiful bedroom with its own shuttered balcony and that view and of course a luxury fitted bathroom. We were highly delighted.
Finally if walking is your thing, just head out from here along the lower slopes of the mountain to Lion's Head where, yes the view is even better
