Single level beach cottage with fireplace and garage. Wonderful wood decks all around this home make for great family get togethers. Cozy living room has wall of windows that look out to the beach. Master bedroom also has large windows with a window seat and lots of greenery. Skylights in kitchen and in bathrooms give lots of natural light. This home is charming!

GWS, COMore rocks than sand!
Left on 11/10/2012 for a stay in October 2012
Spent seven nights here in October, 2012. Upon arrival we were disappointed to find that, unlike the photos, almost all the sand on the beach is gone and what remains is rocks - lots and lots of rocks. A few houses to the north there is sandy beach, and a few houses to the south there is sandy beach, but in front of this house and five or more either direction is 75% or more rocks. Other than that this property was great, though there is no air conditioning and the windows in the kitchen do not open, so even just boiling water makes the kitchen an oven. Beach Road is so convenient to I-5, shopping, restaurants, and the Metrolink - and the beautiful public beach is just at the end of the street. All in all it was a wonderful stay, and we even saw Dolphins jumping and playing in the water in front of the house on the last day. But, if we stay in this area again we will make sure to find a house with recent photos and make sure with whomever renting it out that there is sand on the beach in front of the house!!!
