From the deck you will be fascinated with the views of the river, ocean, and historic train bridge. You can take in the sounds of the coastal wildlife and river as you relax. This vacation condo is beautifully furnished and decorated. Enjoy a BBQ or picnic in the shared sunny river front yard. This cozy condo is perfect for a family. It is a short stroll to Capitola Village, restaurants, boutiques and of course the beach. ~1000 Square Feet

This condo is located right on the water and only a couple hundred yards from the ocean and Capitola Village. We had a great Christmas Week there. Yes the place is a little dated but very comfortable and quaint. Kitchen was stocked well and the place was clean. As others have said, the parking is tricky to get in and out, so don't bring a large SUV or truck. Parking around the village can get very expensive and scarce so it is nice to have your own parking right across the street from the village. Be sure to watch the little video of how to open the lockbox, it can get tricky if it is stormy or dark out. We will try to make this our Christmas detination from now on. I surely wouldn't want to have more than 4 people there, even though it says 6, that would be a nightmare unless you are very close knit.

This unit is very nice. We are very familiar with Capitola. We have been coming here for over forty years. This unit nstands out. I is very nice, quiet, and clean. It is a very short walk to the village and the beach. Sara at the rental company was extremely nice and helpful. Parking is tight, but workable (no large cars or SUV. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

The Labor Day Weekend/Begonia Festival has been a tradition for our family and friends for many years. We thoroughly enjoy the rental it is in the perfect location and Beach House Rentals have made it a wonderful experience. The rental property is clean and supplied with enough towels and supplies for our family for the long Labor Day Weekend. The deck is the perfect spot to sit and watch the Begonia Floats go down the river as they pass our rental. We look forward to returning again in 2013.

The condo is 1/2 block from the town and conveniently located on the river, so a great location. The condo offers 2 spacious bedrooms and a full futon that can sleep 2 in the living room which worked out quite well. The living area is large but dining a bit small which was fine as we ate out most nights. There is a cute little deck off the dining area that overlooks the walking path and river and is where we spent most of our time. The unit is clean and comfortable. They supplied ample towels, blankets and pillows. One covered parking spot comes with the unit, but had a difficult time getting my small SUV into the space. The rental agency was gracious enough to give me a parking pass so I could park on the street, but parking is tight in that area. Worst case you can park in the local lot a block away and spend $6/day. I did think the condo was a bit pricey for a long weekend and limited on the number of people it could house to try and defer some of the cost. In any event, we had a great weekend and enjoyed the property very much.

Comfortable condo for four. The stroll along the river right outside is so charming. The furnishings were a little funky but then we weren't expecting the Ritz, so it was fine. The rental company people were all super friendly and accommodating and it was great that we could bring one extra family member with four paws. Deck was small but well situated.

We stayed with the family at this condo and found the location to be great. The kitchen was small but functional and the living room large with a view and fireplace. Only a two block walk to the beach and near many places to eat. Very peaceful. It has a washer and dryer, but it was hard to find and nobody told you where it was. There was no wifi which was a major drag and we got yelled at for going up to the rooftop deck, even though there were no signs saying not to go up there. Overall, I would go back.

This unit was centrally located in the capitola village, along the soquel creek. However, parking can be hectic if u have an oversized truck or vehicle that is lifted like we did. We got several parking tickets for having misread our permit, which, yes, is nobodys fault but our own. We brought our bicycles and surfboards, which made getting in/out of the unit difficult due to the stairs up to the door. The unit was old with a grandma feel to its decor and furnishings. I would not care except the price leads you to assume you will be staying in at least an up to date place. Lights in outer hallways lit all night so kind of distrupting to sleep in the rooms as the coverings still allow lit through. Upstairs unit was loud walking around and tv heard through ceiling late at night. This place isnt horrible, but definitely disappointing for the price.

We have been spending Labor Day weekend in Capitola for the last 20 + years with friends and family. We have been renting from Beach House rentals for several years and continue to go back to rent same unit for the next year. Beach House rentals have been very accommodating and we have been very happy with their service and the location of 327 B Riverview rental. It is the perfect location for the Begonia Festival weekend. Watching floats on the river from the balcony walking distance to town and nightlife. The two bedroom two bath is perfect for our family.

Loved the location, so close to beach or town. Lovely little bbq area right on the river which is quite sheltered from the wind; it's a common area path but not much foot traffic. Deck is small but gets lots of sun--great reading/coffee/wine spot! House is fine, living room furniture could use an update, close to Capitola's "nightlife" if you have older children.We took bikes and a kayak which we used on the river and ocean. There is room under outside stairs to store everything, we used a lock at night but it seemed very safe.

This condo was the best of all worlds for our family -- on the river front which was the perfect settings for Bbqs, a few steps to the beach, even fewer steps to a coffee shop, and a condo with a full kitchen and washer/dryer to use. It was a perfect 11 day vacation for us and we can't wait to go back next year.
