We had a wonderful time!
The pool was lovely and the wines available to purchase were great and well-priced.
We saw all the wonderful little walled towns. The countryside
is beautiful with all the vines and olive trees. -

The villa far exceeded our expectations! It was even more beautiful than the pictures showed! And it was perfectly suited to our large multi-family group. There were many thoughtful touches that added to the overall feeling of luxury as well, such as the bathrobes in each room and extra pool towels, the fully stocked wine cupboard, the friendly cleaning staff, and even the yard staff checking when we might be out for the day so as not to disturb us with their noise. Our three weeks went by much too quickly and we never wanted to leave! Sometimes we almost resented all the other things we came to see that took us away from our wonderful villa - lol.. And we all fell completely in love with "Ned" the beautiful orange tabby cat who seems to adopt the visiting families - he was such a well behaved 'gato' - a real charmer...
We especially appreciated that the furniture was comfortable and child-friendly, and the many different seating areas assured that there was somewhere for everyone to be. There were places for us to all sit together and visit, places for the children to play, and there were also quiet areas for those who wanted a smaller setting to read or just enjoy the magnificent views. The dining tables were spacious enough for all 10 comfortably and we loved the al fresco dining options and used the outdoor pizza oven lots!! But our very favorite had to be the pool and hot tub area - it was so beautiful with lots of places to sit! We spent a lot of time there – (ice cold local brut, olive oil and bread and cheese in the afternoon watching the children playing quickly became a habit!) so the extra touches such as comfortable seating, tables and the small fridge poolside were much appreciated. We used the outdoor shower often and in the cool evenings we loved the lights around the pool as well as the heat lamp and lights over the hot tub. It's too bad the fountain wasn't working as that would have been the finishing touch!
Rita and Roberto were so lovely - they shared some of their handmade olive oil with us as well as showing us some of the magnificent local mushrooms. They were very helpful and kind - they told us about some interesting local festivals and let us watch (and even help a little) with the grape harvest on the property - it was fascinating to see!
The villa is situated on a quiet mountainside with magnificent views into the valley towards Subbiano. We were surrounded on all sides by beautiful gardens, grape vines and olive groves. It was private and just perfect! And even though wild boar hunting season had just opened, it really was peaceful and restful. We were close enough to drive into any number of little towns easily, but did most of our major shopping in Arezzo. -

I was a little afraid to rent a villa over the Internet. You know, maybe the photos were only highlighting the positive while hiding the negative aspects. But to our delight the place was even better than the photos depicted. It was magnificient! Beautiful! Perfect! And had unexpected ammentities such as a heated swimming pool, hot tub, wood burning fireplace, maid service every other day, and a fully stocked wine cabinet and wine refrigerator made from grapes grown on site.
The view, the location, and the pool were great. Also, there were 8 of us and we had plenty of room in the villa. We never felt crowded. Also, the neighbors and the owners were super friendly and visited us several times which made it really fun.
Visiting the small local towns. We were perfectly situated to take day excursions to many interesting places. Only 13 km from Arezzo which is a nice size town with good shopping, restaurants and siteseeing. Also within 1 hour drive from some fabulous towns such as Florence, Assisi, Siena, Cortona just to name a few. And only 1/2 hour from the Chianti region! You definitely need a car here. -

Fantastic. Mario was very responsive to our needs. Villa is charming and we enjoyed a true Tuscan vacation.
Everything. The villa had all we were looking for in a villa in Tuscany. The view!
The view and the quiet and peaceful area, yet close to shopping. -

We had a better experience than we imagined, and we had high expectations before getting there.
We liked best the views of the countryside. We liked the fact that we were the only tourists in the local towns. We really wanted to feel like the locals, and this property allowed us to do just that! Being surrounded by the olive trees ad grapevines was truly a unique experience. We had so much room at the property to spread out!
There is not much to complain about! The only thing I would have to say is that the internet connection was a little spotty. But we had read that in previous reviews and because of the remoteness of the area, it was expected. Mario came right over to fix the internet when needed. It would not be a problem at all if we did not need to communicate with our young children back home.
We were in the countryside, yet nearby towns were very accessible. Like stated before, the towns were not touristy, we really got a feel for living like a local. -

Excellent.
The panoramic views from many areas of the property. The facility to sit outside in the sun or the shade.
The wireless Internet proved to be a problem, although the property manager, Mario, did his absolute best to get it working on a consistent basis.
Experiencing typical Tuscan countryside with beautiful hill top towns. Arezzo was a pleasant surprise. -

The villa more than lived up to our expectations based on the reviews and photos on Rentvillas. Everything was in good shape, the garden looked spectacular, and we took full advantage of all the bedrooms, the pool cabana, the dining loggia, the two kitchens, and even the fireplace one wet night at the end of May. We all felt very welcome, and made the villa our home for the week.
Grounds, views, lots of new bathrooms, welcoming owners and cleaning staff, great location, thick Frette bathrobes in every room, large pool. The best thing was being able to pick a lemon for the evening Campari and soda right off the tree outside.
No complaints, really.
Easy to get everywhere. We made day trips to Florence, Arezzo, Cortona, Pienza, Montepulciano, the outlet mall. Beautiful hill country with terraced olive groves and vineyards. -

Size and external area.
The noise of the sprinkler system which came on many times in the night, and the dogs barking in two farms, one in front and one behind the villa. -

This is a perfect property for a large family traveling together.
The beauty and the views were spectacular. Also, the small village atmosphere was exactly what we wanted.
It could use some directions for the kitchen appliances. They are second nature to Europeans, but not for folks from the States.
Small village atmosphere and the warm friendly people made it authentic Italy. We were not looking for a tourist experience, so this was perfect. We were centrally located and that made for easy day trips. -

Villa Andreina was not only excellent in itself, but also convenient by car to places of interest, such as Poppi, Cortona, Siena. The owner and his family were most hospitable and helpful in recommending things to see and do. And Roberto was a wonderful chef!
The occasional and unannounced power outages.
The views, the food, and the people. -

Stunning views and a wonderful outside dining nook where we ate dinner every night.
Some of us got bug bites, though I don't know whether they were specifically at the villa or just in the countryside in general.
We used the wood-fired oven, but some of the cooking tools were missing or unavailable.
Very peaceful, with nice walks nearby. Plus the Arezzo train station was close enough - about 30 minutes away - that we could easily take day trips to Florence and other towns.
