Careyes is located 2 1/2 hours south of Puerto Vallarta's International Airport and 1 hour 15 minutes from Manzanillo's International Airport. It's a beautiful drive and there are also small private planes, which operate from Puerto Vallarta and land in the Chamela land strip (4000 ft). From there it's only 15 minutes to Careyes.
