This semi-detached cottage is located on the edge of the village of Cark in Cartmel, 2 miles from Cartmel itself, and can sleep four people in three bedrooms. Cark Manor Stables is a semi-detached cottage located on the edge of the village of Cark in Cartmel, 2 miles from Cartmel itself. The cottage has an 'upside down' layout and can sleep four people in three ground floor bedrooms - one double and two singles. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The open plan living accommodation is on the first floor and includes a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove, leading out ont...o a spacious balcony. Outside, there is ample off road parking, along with spacious gardens with furniture, a viewing platform and swings. With Cartmel and Grange-over-Sands close by, Cark Manor Stables makes a great base for couples or small families all year round.

Amenities: Electric storage heaters with woodburning stove in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD. Fuel and power inc. in rent, fuel for stove available to purchase (honesty box). Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and toys on request. Ample off road parking. Spacious gardens with furniture, viewing platform and swings. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 3 mins walk. Note: Use of the viewing platform and swings is entirely at guests' own risk.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  What a lovely cottage this is. We spent a delightful week here. Not the best weather, but what does that matter when you're in accommodation as well specified, comfortable, clean and interesting as this one. And in a beautiful location, very private but handy for the village and surrounding attractions. We can't wait to come back!
