Herdwick Cottage is a former mill worker's cottage in the small village of Cark in Cartmel, two miles from Cartmel, close to the Lake District National Park. This terraced cottage sleeps three people, in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one single, as well as a family bathroom. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside there is roadside parking, a front patio with furniture and a rear courtyard. Herdwick Cottage is ideal for... a small family and a couple, who wish to explore the villages and towns nearby, the stunning National Park and the coast.

Front patio with furniture, rear courtyard area. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: The stairs at this property are steep and narrow. Note: This property is alongside a river, therefore children and pets should be supervised at all times.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  herdwick cottage in cark set in a plesant village with a small stream running right by the property enhanching the peacefulness of the area. a well presented cottage ideal for a base to tour the lake district. all modern fitments with the possibility of an open fire for the colder nights.
