We had a wonderful family stay at Casa Del Sol with our cousins from Norway. Plenty of room for everyone. Some things we enjoyed included the pool (especially the kids), the bikes were fun to ride into town and the ability to do laundry at home was great! The convenience to many attractions was great and the house was very nice and homey, but not so fancy that you had to worry about touching anything. Very kid friendly! We looked at many properties from San Clemente down to La Jolla, and this home was roomier, had a pool, most reasonably priced and was close to the attractions we wanted to do.

Our family's first experience renting a house and what a wonderful way for three generations to enjoy each other. The house is so comfortable and the gardens are gorgeous. We spent a good amount of time at the great dining table with two cooks in the group and many, many games of "Go Fish" with my grandson. Very comfortable rooms and furniture. It really felt like a home away from home, except we had a pool at this home! ;-) Loved Carlsbad Village and the beautiful beaches! Although La Jolla is breathtakingly beautiful, I loved the sleepy beach town feel of Carlsbad. We really enjoyed the landscaping not only for the beauty of it but the privacy it provided. Thank you for everything!

Staying at this home was very relaxing. Every day we woke up in paradise. We walked along the beach, went for a surf or a jog and just enjoyed the great location. We would come back and jump in the pool and hot tub. The home and neighborhood was very enjoyable. This is southern California living, if only for a while.
