The location, right on Carlsbad beach is the deal here within walking distance to about all you need. But, the place did smell rather bad and we had lots of ant problems. We did our own extermination that worked mostly. Also, there was a huge water leak -- not inside -- but that went outside and along the interior wall that we notified the folks of when we left. If that has not been fixed, it could be problematic for later guests. Would not go back.

The vacation rentals apartment block was our home four six months in 2000/2001 while my wife received experimental treatment for pancreatic cancer in Los angeles. The manager made our extended stay possible by moving us around when other bookings required it.
This March, I returned with my new partner and felt right at home. The place had been renovated but a couple of side tables would have been welcome. Two other couples immediately befriended us. While there was no live-in manager, the rental office was near-by. There, Lisa was also very friendly and accommodating.
The block is located at a very popular way-side at the beach, at the end of a very long promenade along the coast, and is within walking distance of the 'Carlsbad Village' with its restaurants, shops, post office and the train station. The'Coaster takes you from Oceanside to down-town San Diego with its myriad of attractions.
The I-5 takes you there in less than half an hour and to Los angeles in an hour and a half. Some people spend all winter there, but one month is a must.
Wherever we went we made sure to be back on our sunny balcony in time to enjoy the ocean of molten silver with a glass or two of excellent
wine. -

We walked into office not really expecting what we got! Although the rental agent was out another agent there helped us with looking up ocean front unit and really going out of his way even though it was close to their office closing time. He found us an awesome unit at an even more awesome price. We enjoyed our stay and even extended it with no hassle at all. The whole experience was hassle free!! We will definately be back and have referred friends. Location was perfect and unit was exceptional. Thank you so much for making our first trip to Carlsbad such a memorable and relaxing one.

We love the location of Seabreeze to all of the restaurants and beach. We have been staying in them for over six years and enjoy going back every year. We do hope the new owners will continue to update the units. They need a few new things!
