We lived on the back patio. The most charming Cottage we have ever stayed in!

Carmel-by-the-Sea is a magical place. One of the loveliest towns I have ever visited. Diego's house extends that magic. Where else can you jog up (literally) and down beautifully manicured streets by boutique shops and fine restaurants. From Diego's house I put on my wetsuit and walked two blocks to the ocean where I swam with dolphins in the sea kelp beds (was training for the alcatraz triathlon). His home is exquisitely landscaped with many different areas to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and varying views. It is also walking distance to the main streets and shops. This april I will be going back to Ca to do the Big Sur Marathon and am thrilled to be able to stay at Diego's place once again for a few memorable nights. I cannot wait.
