My wife and I with our 10 lbs Havanese just had a delightful time relaxing inside and outside in the private grounds. Nice neighborhood for dog walks and near the lake and Gar Woods infamous restaurant for a nice Mom and Dad night out! Will return!!

this was a great cabin in a good location. perfect for 2 people + the pooch. the enclosed fence was prefect to allow the dog to do some running. it is off north tahoe blvd so you do get some street noise. otherwise everything was great.

San Jose, CAVery Cozy Cottage with Big Fenced Yard!
Left on 10/25/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We stayed 8 nights in the cozy Beadle Cottage. It was perfect for the two of us and our Labradoodle dog loved the big fenced yard! The location on the North Shore is ideal for traveling and Patton Beach across the street is dog friendly! We can't say enough good things about Lori, our agate Bay Rental agent, who was so helpful and professional. She even worked her magic when our Direct TV had a glitch!
The Beadle Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is comfy, the shower is hot, the kitchen is complete, the patio & BBQ add to your enjoyment of the outdoors. We are already planning when we can return next year! Thanks to the owners for sharing their cozy cottage & thanks to agate Bay!

We recently stayed at the beadle home and had a fabulous time. We really liked that the property has a fenced yard which is hard find in the Tahoe area. The cabin is perfect size for two people and a dog anything more than that would be crowded. It was situated very conveniently between north shore communities. We definitely will be staying here again in the future.

This was our second stay at Beadle House and again, it did not disappoint. You absolutely can not beat the location and the home is cozy. We plan an active weekend outdoors, so we do not utilize the kitchen other than for hosting snacks and drinks, but we do wind down on the couch before retiring to a very comfy bed.
Just a personal word of warning... If you have a dog that is crazy for water (we have a lab), please be sure and keep the gate secure. Our pup nosed his way out of the gate right in front of us and bolted across the Boulevard to get to the water. He is still a pup and although well trained, once he sets his sights on water there is no stopping him. Thankfully there was a lull in traffic and he made it across the busy street without incident. And, we were able to have another perfect weekend in Tahoe.

Our stay was wonderful, beautiful weather, cool mornings and warm afternoons. The area was having bear problems. We were notified on arrival and given instructions as to trash disposal, etc. We had no problems at all. The cottage was very clean and had every amenity encluding wine glasses. We took our Pomeranian with us and he had a great time exloring the fenced yard with all of the mountain smells that we don't have in the city.

Left on 09/05/2012 for a stay in August 2012
The service was great, the location was perfect, and the amenities were by far the best. We had a beautiful view of the lake from the frontroom window and a very big yard where our dog could run and not get out. The only thing that I would add is maybe a hand rail on the steps by the door and on the patio outside. Other than that it was perfect.

Wonderful cabin, great location, terrific price. However, jackhammers woke us up two mornings in a row. Another day we had to leave the property because the noise was so bad. I expect city noise in the city, but not on my"Retreat to the mountains " At checkout I discussed this with management, hoping they might compensate me in some way: discount this visit, or offer a free night for a future visit. Instead I was offered an apology, but nothing more. I was told it wasn't their fault and they refused to compensate me at all. This left me with a negative feeling at checkout. The receptionist was very nice, but the management was not helpful. bad customer service.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beadle Cottage, as did our dogs. It's a cute place in a very good location. The yard is great for dogs. Having high speed internet was excellent in helping us plan our outings. The bed was comfy. The kitchen was equipped enough for us to get by quite well. We saved a lot of money eating in.
The location in Carnelian Bay allowed us easy access to some of Tahoe's best attractions. We would definitely stay there again.
The only drawbacks, and I hesitate to mention them, are that the shower wasn't too good. The control was finicky and water easily leaked thru the shower door onto the floor. Also, because the cottage is close to the highway there is a little traffic noise.
Overall we had a great stay and were sad to leave. -

Left on 07/15/2012 for a stay in July 2012
The Beadle Cottage was just great. We loved that the entire yard was fenced in so our dog could stroll around and be safe, and we could pull our car in and shut the gate, which made for easy packing/unpacking. The decor was nice and fitting for a lakeside cottage. The bed was very comfortable. The cottage is on the smaller side, so it was perfect for my me, my husband, and our dog. We'll definitely be back!

tiny cabin w/big furniture but big fenced yard
everything you need but really tight on interior space
nice to have washer/dryer
couldn't open the fold-out couch because of the huge coffee table...where is the 3rd person and/or snoring spouse supposed to sleep? loft unavailable
no real table inside but nice table out plus grill
pretty noisy from highway but 2 dog beaches across the street
Good food at Cj's
would have liked to try Gar Woods but they don't do take out or dogs

Just off the main road this was a nice cabin across the street from the lake. It had a fenced off back yard which made it easy to bring a dog. We just stayed for the weekend but would have enjoyed staying longer. Lots of fun activities near by and walking distance to a great restaurant. Cabin amenities are good with nice room and loft, very comfortable.

Left on 05/22/2012 for a stay in May 2012
This little gem of a cabin was a wonderful midweek retreat for my husband, myself, and our beagle. It is comfy, cozy, and contains most everything you need to really enjoy your stay. It was mid-May and no outdoor furniture or BBQ were out yet,so we brought fold up chairs. Since the weather was perfect we were glad we had them so we could enjoy sitting on the patio enjoying the tall pines and sun.
The pictures are accurate in showing how the owners have updated and furnished it. Would suggest that they have a radio/CD/Ipod player of some kind to enjoy besides the TV, VCR/DVD set up. Kitchen was well equiped for a small place. Fyi- if you're a short person, it is difficult to get up on the bar chairs to eat at the counter. Also difficult to get things from the top shelf in cupboard. Was great we could bring our dog along. She loved the enclosed yard and spent a lot of her time sitting outside in the sun.
We definitely plan to return. -

Great location, just across the street from the lake. It's small, only about 450 Sq feet, but it has everything you need plus a decent size fenced backyard for your dog to hangout. We'd love to return this cabin in the near future.

Me and my husband absolutely loved it here. It's a small cozy comfortable place that has an enclosed backyard for our dog to enjoy. You can see the Lake from the backyard and can cross the street to take a walk around the Lake. We loved it so much that we decided to rent it again during our check out for my birthday later in the year. Loved it!

Very cute & cozy with all the amenities available. Great romping yards for our 3 dogs. Very secure. Heater could have been more effienct. Had trouble with check-in as was promised that key would be left in box @ realty, and there was no key. Would have had to spend night in car with 3 dogs, but the neighbor behind cabin happen to know the owners & had a key. Thank-god. It was very cold that night. Close to the small beach-right across the street with a very nice restaurant (GarWoods). Great happy hour specials! All & all a very nice little getaway cabin. Would revisit in a second.

a. Since there was no dishwasher a few more kitchen towels would have helped

b. Just a safety concern on some loose Tiles in the front of the entry where someone could trip outside.

The backyard was perfect for the dogs. The cabin was comfortable, well equipped and clean. Loved having a limited view of the lake from both the living room and deck. Great to be able to walk the dogs to the beach whenever I wanted to. Can't wait to return!! Not a skier but would love to come back in January.

The only bad thing was No Sports Channel for the Giants and the DVD player skipped a few times. Location is accross the street from a Dog friendly beach. The back yard is completely fenced and the shed has a second refer so you can stock up for the week. We would stay again.
