ConcordStag Weekend
Left on 12/05/2012 for a stay in November 2012
Absolutely awesome location, price, and features for the stag party I planned for my friend. Tahoe National Forest right up the road for off-roading/shooting and a big cozy cabin with a hot tub to chill afterwords. The whole thing was surprisingly affordable and I would totally rent the same place again.

Madera, CAQuiet and relaxing spot!
Left on 08/31/2011 for a stay in August 2011
Lovely quiet area but conveniently close to town. We had a large family group of 15 staying together for a week, but the house is so spacious and has so many places for people to be that we didn't feel crowded at all. The hot tub was a wonderful treat! The house could use a good top to bottom deep cleaning, but all in all it was a pleasant stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Left on 06/10/2011 for a stay in May 2011
Nicole was fabulous and very flexible given that we were traveling with about 14 14-year old girls and four adults and such crazy unpredictable weather. We have stayed here before and although our troop is dismantling I intend to use this for family vacations! We didn't have firewood when we arrived and the garbage disposer was not working, but Nicole had the firewood delivered and disposer fixed as soon as we told her. The location is great--within walking distance to the beach and a great town with wonderful eateries near by. The jacuzzi worked well and all the bedding was comfortable. It was also great to have toiletries just like a hotel!! I liked the washer/dryer, TV, coffee pot, stove, etc... we used it all. what i like best is the cleanliness and that it comfortably fits a large party. It is a fabulous home -- and it felt like that--a home away from home!

Left on 03/02/2011 for a stay in February 2011
This cabin fit our needs perfectly! It had ample sleeping beds for our large family and plenty of living space so that we could have quiet or activity time when needed. The large dining table was a big plus. The home was well-maintained and clean. The rental price was a great value as well. My only suggestion is that the house be weatherized so that the cold air doesn't come through the doors and windows.
Nicole provided superb customer service. We'll definitely consider this cabin for our next North Shore stay! -

Nicole was great to work with before and after our trip. She accommodated our needs and was very helpful. This is our 2nd yr back at Bichards and we still love it! We've recommended this place to other friends and they've enjoyed it as well. Parking is awesome as it can fit up to 8 vehicles!! The location is close enough to the resorts and grocery stores. The cabin is large enough to host 20 guests comfortably with room to still lounge and relax.
We can't wait to come back next year! -

Lake Oroville, CAGreat Group House
Left on 02/10/2011 for a stay in February 2011
The Bichard home is set up well for large groups, with 12 bunks/twins and 3 queens/king. There's both a living room and family room, as well as large dining room. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking for a number of people. Just 2 1/2 baths, though, and some of the furnishings are a little shabby, but all was clean. Note that the "den" is just the original dining area off the living room--no privacy for sleeping. The hot tub is large, but the water was so dirty as to be unusable, and there was no compensation forthcoming except an apology. The property is conveniently located on the North Shore of Tahoe, a short drive to Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Homewood ski resorts. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives.

We had a great time and were pleasantly surprised by all the room. The house, yard and patio were all huge and accomadated our large clan. Lots of adults and lots of kids. Our favorite was the large dining room where we could all gather and the new big flat screen tv. We had no problems at all, Nicole was a pleasure to deal with.

Chatsworth, CaliforniaThe Only Way to do Tahoe!
Left on 09/07/2010 for a stay in August 2010
In august our group The Chrome Divas of Southern California (Women's Motorcycle Riding Group) held its annual Ride & Retreat in Tahoe. We average 10 to 12 women every year for the past 3 years to go on a riding vacation. We have found that the best way for a group of ten or more to travel anywhere is to rent a vacation house and split the cost among us. This year we rented the Bichard Family Chateau. The home exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space for parking the motorcycles and for sleeping accommodations. Most of our members were able to fit no more than two people per room. We enjoyed a beautiful large house, full working kitchen, jacuzzi, wonderful fireplace and large den, internet access and so much more. We were able to prepare family style meals each day, enjoy a fabulous breakfast and fresh made coffee. It was easy to make the reservation and deal with Nicole. She was always available to answer any questions. The location is perfect. It is a very short ride into town and a large grocery store. So if you need anything at the last minute it was available. Not too much farther down the road you find the north Tahoe casinos. It is a lovely drive around the lake to get to Incline Village and to the So. Lake Tahoe Casinos. It is supposedly only 72 miles around the lake. So there isn't a bad place to stay around the lake that isn't terribly far away from the Casinos. If you have 10 or more traveling to Tahoe, I highly recommend the Bichard Family Chateau.

Left on 06/09/2010 for a stay in May 2010
There are eighteen of us in the group, so six bed room house is perfect. The house is very cozy and clean. However, the comforters are a little old and worn in some rooms.
There is internet connection in the house eventhough it's not mentioned in the house' amenities.
Overall, we love it. We'll definitely come back. -

Left on 03/25/2010 for a stay in March 2010
I must say this was a first for me to rent a house for a mini vacation with my siblings and their families, our parents and one grandparent. The house was easy to find and perfect. There was plenty of parking for our four car and probably 3 more. Nicole the rental agent made sure the house was a comfortable temperature when we arrived. We had a little technical difficulty with the cable on the TV ,but it was resolved in little to no time. Nicole and the owner were fast to respond and help us get it resolved. In the side yard the 4 and 5 year olds enjoyed playing in the snow and with the sleds. I would like to thank the Bichard Family for allowing us to make a family memory in the house

Left on 03/10/2010 for a stay in March 2010
We stayed here with a group of 8 (well below the 20-person occupancy) and
had a great weekend. Hot tub is fantastic, location is excellent to both lake
and ski areas (and a nice area to just walk around) and house is comfortable
and cozy. There are two small living rooms so it's easy for one crew to watch
TV while another relaxes in front of the fire. We had a dog with us and he
loved it too (though the backyard is not fenced so beware - you can easily
fence off the deck, however). Large dining room is a nice addition for post-ski
group dinners, though seats more like 12-15 than 20 (kids table would be a
good option :) ). We had a great time here.Response from Lake Tahoe Deluxe Vacation Rentals - 05/14/2010

Left on 02/24/2010 for a stay in February 2010
Reserving this trip was easy. Nicole was very helpful and answered our many questions. The home was nice and big which worked for our group of Girl Scouts. Activities were near by and the cabin was easy to get to. It was nice having 2 floors with bedrooms, also 2 family rooms and a large dining room. We never got the TV to work (glad we brought games and karaoke), the microwave fan and turntable wouldn't turn off so we would unplug and replug the microwave in so it wouldn't waist energy. Also there weren't enough linen for beds or showers as expected. It all worked out and we worked around these few issues and had a great time in Tahoe. We hope to return again next year if the troop sells enough cookies!

Thanks so much for your review. It's very helpful and I will pass along to the owners about the linens. The microwave will be fixed and the TV does work. I wish I knew it didn't work when you were there so we could have had it up & running for your stay. You all left the cabin so nice & tidy. We look forward to having you all again!

Sacramento, CaliforniaGreat Place!!
Left on 02/21/2010 for a stay in February 2010
This place is great!! We stayed in this house this month (President's Weekend Holiday). There were 18 of us and a boxer..The house has a rustic style. It's so cozy and very spacey. The pictures didn't look it but the dining area is nice and spacey. The house is clean and very descent for the price. It's close to Safeway and Savemart. And very close to the lake. There is lots of space for parking (front and back). The kitchen is filled with plates and utensils. They have varieties of sizes for pots and pans. The washer and dryer is very convenient. The only downside is the house only has 2.5 bathrooms. With 18 people, we had to schedule showers because we ran out of hot water if we didn't. Other than that..it was a great experience for all of us. We will definitely come back to this property.

This was our second trip but the groups 8th year. This house worked for us this year and the price was right. Our contact person, Nicole was very helpful. The house was easy to get too and close to what we wanted to do. Will do it again next year. The rooms were good but there was no top sheets for the beds. Since we were there for super bowl it would of been nice for a TV in the other room.
Thank You to the Bichard Family for letting us stay in their home.

We have been renting a cabin in Bear Valley for the past 11 years and this was the first time we gave Tahoe a chance. We were not disappointed. My family and I had a great time in this cabin. The layout is very good because it keeps everybody in the same area of the cabin. This may be good or bad depending on your family! It was good in our case. There is a nice flat screen tv in the small living room and it had many dish channels. The hot tub outside was real nice and inviting also.Try the Cranium game that's in the living room with the fireplace. It's a riot. The price for the cabin was twice as much as what I pay in Bear Valley but it is Tahoe.Overall it was worth it.We will be back.

The Cabin was absolutely amazing and from start to finish was so easy. It feels like home, is very comfortable for a large group (we had over 20) and is just very cozy overall! If you are looking for luxury, this probably isn't the place for you, but if you are looking for a place that feels like home, is easy to get to, near everything, can accommodate a lot of people and is very well priced, then the Bichard Family Chateau will be perfect for you too!! Well will be going back there hopefully every Christmas.

Having looked at many rentals for a family wedding at Carnelian Bay, I finally found Nicole at Lake Tahoe Deluxe Vacations Rentals. After talking to a few agents and owners that were happy to take my money, but not in letting me preview they're properties, I found Nicole who was more than happy to let me view the property. I rented it on the spot and it was a big hit with family who came up for the wedding. I would happily rent this home again and would reccomend it to anyone. Thank You Niclole for a great Weekend Mike

We had almost all the sleeping spots filled up and we were very comfortable. Lots of dishes, though you may want to take favorite pots/pans for cooking. Large dining table was nice, but if you have the max (20) amount of people, you'll need to spread out into the livingroom for dining. The water heater held up well, and the hot tub was nice too. The TV was nice and the furniture worked for us. Not a top-of-the-line place, and probably a too pricey for the actual accomodations, but not outrageous. I'd probably look for another place next time just to change things up, but I'd be happy to go back again as well.
