“Peace and quiet and away from it all.” Screened with well=equipped kitchen and two comfortable double beds withh private baths. Big deck with great views of the sea and islands, not to mention sunsets. Private but with neighbors nearby. Two quiet beaches nearby, but requiring many steps. Wonderful area for walking, but a vehicle is required for non-walkers. Few activities - just peace, quiet, and beauty.

“Beautiful stay at La Pagerie” We are four friends from Kiev in Ukraine, and we decide to spend our vacation in Caribbean that year. We wanted a villa right on beach, and found La Pagerie. Wonderful! Lot of sun actually, showers not so much in spite rainy season. The view is marvelous, the bay, islands away, the sea. Wonderfull snorkeling very close to the shore, I saw lobsters! Very gentle people in charge of estate right above, always available to help. Parrots around too! So nice...

“A truly special place” We were lucky enough to get married in Bequia 10 years ago and this was our 3rd return trip staying at Lime House on all occasions. We have had the privelage to stay in both the Cottage and the Studio and have never been disappointed. Both properties are well presented, with the Studio being more secluded and having amazing sea views - if you are lucky you will see some amazing sunrises. There are some great places to eat on Bequia - favourites of ours being Macs Pizzeria and Nando's for his spicy wings. We always come back truly relaxed from our holiday in Bequia and look forward to when we will be able to return - hopefully soon.

Villa La Pagerie in Carriacou
La Pagerie is truly as advertised and we liked that!

We loved our stay there. La Pagerie is as advertised, the villa is so exclusive, so deliberately exotic, back to past elegance and refinement. Bedrooms are incredibly large. The verandahs and decks, the social pool, the gardens are a continued invitation to relax and rest... The sea is right there, quiet and warm. The coral reef is only feet away! Honey Hill Villa at Anse la Roche, Carriacou
A piece of paradise

There a not many places in the world that would keep me coming back for more but this is one. The island Carriacou is a hidden jewel in the Caribbean with some of the most beautiful and deserted beaches anywhere. The people and atmosphere is welcoming without the fake tourist chinz. This is a place I have and do recommend to anyone who wants something unique. The same can be said for Honey Hill. First time I saw it was rounding the corner on the road up to Anse La Roche and it's gleaming white facade in the sunlight, nestled in the deep green, was inviting me in. Once inside.....aas you open the doors to the terrace in front of you the view with Hillsborough bay and re island before you is stunning. I challenge anyone to sit with a rum watching the sunset from this villa terrace and not want to stay forever. The villa itself is very nicely set up. Lovely rooms have good storage space, and very comfortable beds. Air conditioning helps but to honest if you set the louvers the evening breeze means you don't really need the A. The bathrooms are clean and well appointed with good showers. The outside shower is a great addition for getting rid of the sand from a beach trip. The kitchen is well kitted out and the range is one of those nice big US ones. Downstairs there is also a ping pong table just out of reach of your own lime tree...perfect for refreshing my mojito! !!! All in all it is a great place to stay and enjoy a fabulos island....and the WiFi is good too.... Within walking distance was the Roundhouse, an excellent restaurant, and with a menu that keeps you interest each visit. In Hillsborough is La Moringa, a French inspired restaurant with a very good menu which has truly first class dishes. For those self catering most things are available on the island with a little patience, but the one must visit gem is Patty's Deli, an aladdin'sso cave of food heaven....The mince pies are to die for....to be honest most thing there are..... Honey Hill is the perfect hideaway from which to explore and indulge yourself in restfull bliss. We has a fabulous holiday and are already planning our return.. … see more

Nourishment for the Soul

Our time at Yellow Bird was simply wonderful; we are already planning to return, hopefully next year! Each morning we awoke to doves gently cooing us from our slumber and were enveloped by beauty all around us. The warm, turquoise Caribbean Sea is right outside - literally steps away - and we snorkeled and swam each and every day. We also enjoyed just relaxing and reading on the immense wrap around deck (which by the way has a great covered section for those that seek shade). The deck also provided a completely unobstructed view of the most spectacular sunsets and amazing night sky possible. All this without even leaving the grounds! We did however venture out, enjoying a boat trip to snorkel and swim with turtles, hiking to remote beaches, and we even took a fabulous privately guided tour of Carriacou, learning all about the history of the island. Quite simply, Yellow Bird is the perfect place to feed your soul. … see more
