A unique three storey comfortable and stylish two double bedroom house, with open plan living inside and out, all set in a tropical garden along with a secluded plunge pool. Driftwood is also located within an easy five minute walk of two beaches, Toms Bay and Sparrow Bay. For those wanting a get away from it all holiday, Driftwood is the ideal location to chill out and relax.

Driftwood is located on the Island of Carriacou, which is 22 miles North East of Grenada. An easy ferry trip or a 20 minute flight. The house is situated on the west coast, a mile out of the Capital, Hillsborough on the Craigston Estate, which was the original lime factory.

  Set amongst an orchard of lime trees, sits a stunning house on stilts named Driftwood. This idyllic setting is on the Craigston estate; only a few miles from the local town, Hillsborogh, where you can find all the necessary amenities for your stay. The house itself is an absolute gem, it has two huge bedrooms with en suite shower rooms; one has a delightful four-poster bed which enjoys stunning views of the sea. The house can sleep four people comfortably. The kitchen, which is located on the middle floor and accessed via a veranda, has all the necessary cooking equipment, with an island in the middle for social dining and prepping space for any keen chef wishing to cook up a Caribbean feast. This beautiful house provides a warm welcome to any travellers from overseas, giving any newcomers a rich Caribbean experience. Two beaches; Toms Bay and Sparrows Bay can be accessed from the house and both are great areas to go for a dip or just to enjoy the exquisite sunsets and volcanic scenery. If the sea isn't your thing then there is an isolated plunge pool accessed via a path leading down from the house, which is perfect for cooling off during the day, and where gin and tonic with freshly picked limes can be enjoyed in the evenings. Proximity to the local town is a massive bonus too and it takes only 5 minutes to drive from the port to the house. The town itself is home to Patty's deli where you can get your hands on freshly baked loaves of bread, cured meats and ripe cheeses; the fundamental ingredients for a great picnic. There's also a great supermarket and a host of places to dine and drink in the evenings. There is also some great entertainment at night that can be enjoyed on the rest of the island including the tin drum band and several parties down in the town.

  The house is incredibly spacious, comfortable and well equipped. With a gorgeous view out to sea and open plan living area Driftwood felt like the ultimate relaxing getaway. The location is great, with the privacy of being away from the main town, but with plenty of amazing smaller beaches within minutes walk away. The airport pick up and drop off service was arranged for us, which was great, and there were no problems with the house. The house and pool were cleaned regularly and if we had queries the contact was efficient. The setup and aesthetics of Driftwood made for an excellent holiday. Highly recommended!
